★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their employees are arrogant and their projects run extremely slowly. They’ve been building a bike parkade for TransLink for so long, it is ridiculous. If you want your project to run overtime and over budget, then this is the company for you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This office of Bird is operating at such a reduced capacity. Tony Maida needs his walking papers for compormising the company. Duane Fierrera should not be in any level of management. Ken should resign for allowing his office to so under perform when it has such talent. They should be doing five times what they are bringing in. I hope Birds Head Office gets rid of those three they are hindering the talent in the office. How frustrating that must be. Vancouver has so much work and the three mentioned have really hurt the companies ability to get the stock prices back in line. Spring cleaning required.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The company says I might get fired and wants me to start looking for new employment. Why they think I did wrong by with holding subcontractors earnings to cover our profits shortfalls is baffling to me. Its all about profits in the short term when you work for a public company if you want a bonus figure the rest out later. That's how we were taught to gauge our success. They are really blowing things out of proportion in my view. I'm looking for a new company if anyone is hiring. Falling stock prices are not my fault. Ready to turn a new leaf

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was flying back to Vancouver and noticed this interesting building in the distance as I live in Surrey central area, very interesting and complex building built for the sustainable energy department of SFU by Bird, the precast panels were modelled after circuit board connections and the windows are all custom made to fit the shape of the panels. I encourage anyone in the area to check the building out. We need more building like this in Vancouver to offset the dreary curtain wall look.
