K	Karen O on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I use Nuvo in Orléans for my vision care, and without a doubt, it is the best place to take yourself and your family. They have state-of-the-art diagnostics, but more importantly, they have competent professional services as well as excellent customer service. As well, I have used their eyeglass studio, and honestly haven't had quicker or better service anywhere else. In fact, I had my new glasses by the end of the day, after seeing the optometrist in the morning. The staff are also very knowledgeable about what the requirements are for those of us who work with screens all the time, and suggest the right coatings that have saved me a lot of headache (literally!).

Contacted Beechwood location, got an appointment in 2 days, on Family dayof all things. Ian is an awesome optician, professional and funny. Gave me 10% off for inconvenience at Orleans location. Its my go-to now.

However the price of the actual exam kind of shocked me as I've never paid more than $90 for an exam and this one came to $200 but I was happy with the experience.

I've been trying to book to get fitted for contacts, the first time I tried they booked me an appointment and then called three days before to tell me that they couldn't honour it because at the time they would only do fittings on Tuesdays. Tried again today to get an appointment and I was told that they don't work weekends, don't have any way of booking me in after 4pm and were generally unhelpful in trying to work with a fairly standard 8-4 Mon-Fri schedule.

The lady you talk to on the phone to book appointments is super lovely. Dr. Gauthier was so nice and attentive and gave great advice. Then Ian helped me pick glasses (helpful and not pushy) and was there each time I came in to get my glasses adjusted. He is also attentive and so nice.
