Katherine had given her card to my mother, and told her to call if she ever needed anything. Several weeks later, my mother was in need of a foot nurse and was not able to get ahold of any. She decided to call Katherine. To my mother's (and my!) surprise and delight, Katherine offered my mother her own appointment with a podiatrist. This was the start of our relationship with Nurse Next Door. My mother was feeling very isolated due to Covid-19 restrictions, and so she decided to have Nurse Next Door visits every 3 weeks. Nurse Next Door offered to do anything -- from dusting, helping with bathing, going for walks, and even taking her for outings. Not long after this time, my mother's medication routine became very confusing to her. She called Katherine, and she kindly listened and drew out a schedule that would suit my mother best. The caregivers are wonderful, and carefully selected. Their care is beyond anything we expected. They now go in every day to sort out my mother's medications, do household jobs, and even give her daily massages with scented candles, brought by the caregiver. Katherine checks in on my mother several times a week, and is in regular contact with me. Katherine tends to my mother's needs with such care and attention. I could not ask for anything more. I feel very confident and at peace knowing my mother is under Nurse Next Door's care. Thank you to Katherine and the staff at Nurse Next Door!"

I like working at Nurse Next Door because it allows me to work with people, I work with senior citizens and love the conversations and the wisdom that they provide. All of the seniors I work with live in their own home, this allows them to be independent. The activities I do vary depending on the client and what their needs are. Some I helped them to keep their house clean and organized, others they just want a conversation and to be heard. I often drive them to appointments or do some shopping. I feel that this work allows me to be present and sensitive to others. I appreciate the management style and I love having control over my schedule. I would certainly recommend others to work with Nurse Next Door.
