Northwood Park Health Centre

We are Thunder Bay’s newest Public Walk-In Clinic located inside the Northwood location of Janzen’s Pharmacy.

You DO NOT need to be a client of Janzen’s to utilize our services. We are here to provide you with the quick access you need to address all of your health care needs in a timely manner. 

Appointments are available to be booked same-day by phone or in-clinic.

Once the daily maximum appointments have been reached, we will close the Walk-In Clinic for the day. If time slots become available later in the day, due to no shows/cancellations, we will reopen the Walk-In Clinic for more appointments. We will update our Facebook Page and Voicemail, so check these for updates daily!

COVID-19 INFORMATION

We ask that if you have COVID-19 symptoms* that you follow the Thunder Bay District Health Unit’s directives to stay at home and self-isolate.

Self-isolation instructions- As per the Thunder Bay District Health Unit, for those with at least 2 vaccinations, the self-isolation period is 5 days; for those not fully vaccinated, the self-isolation period is 10 days.  This applies to all household contacts (those that live in the home with you).

If you screen positive for COVID-19- Please give us a call at 807-577-8082 and we can assist you by phone and safely arrange an in-clinic appointment if absolutely necessary.

*Symptoms of COVID-19 include: fever of temperature equal to or more than 38°C, new or worsening cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, fatigue or weakness, muscle or body aches, new loss of smell or taste, sore throat, abdominal pain, diarrhea and vomiting, or feeling very unwell.
