★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Needed 1 pilot from Osoyoos, Bc to Prince George, Bc in October 2021. They insisted I should change my route to go thru Kamloops (where the pilot driver lives). Originally I wanted to go via 3, 5 etc, but they said that was a bad route for a heavy load like mine. They don't charge by KM -- instead they charge by the HOUR -- $80 -- on all distances: driver's home to my pickup spot at the US border, then to Prince George, BC, and then back to Kamploops - to the driver's home. I ended up paying C$2,200 after tax for this 'service'. You can definitely find a better value out there. Don't go for the scam where people charge for the return trip to their yard/home. Also, my pilot driver was always in a rush and missed quite a few narrow bridges with no shoulders where he supposed to block the traffic from the opposite side... I will not use these guys again. These guys are just money-grabbers, and provide mediocre escort service.
