★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible service. Got new windows and doors installed a couple of years ago. Last year our front door stuck shut, we couldn't use it all summer. Called and called Northsheild, they hardly ever returned our calls. Had to keep calling. Finally someone came out to adjust it, but it was stuck again the next day. Called and called, no return calls. Finally someone came out and looked, said the door would have to be re-installed. They would call us. No call. Called back numerous times, no service until they finally said wait until spring. We have called and called, the service manager is not in. All week, every week. We've called 4 times in the last two weeks, no call back. No replies to emails. Now our front door is stuck shut again, If we got it open, we could never close it. Inconvenient, and if there was a fire, dangerous, only one exit.

The installers who came to do the work were very clean and professional. They cleaned up very well afterwards as well. I would highly recommend this company for your windows and doors. I know we will be hiring them in the future again for sure as we have a couple doors to do! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ VERY poor customer service. multiple unanswered emails and even more unreturned calls. Patios doors freeze up almost all the way around the frame, and bows the frame as the track freezes from the condensation. Man doors seem to twist with high outdoor temps, as far as 6mm outside of the jamb. The gap gets better with cooler temps. Top corner above the handle on both my outside doors. Same 2 corners also freeze up in the winter. Been trying to resolve this for over 5 months, they said the new construction of the patio door from the manufacturer that was done 3 years ago, causes the freezing after a month of saying its my 36% humidity. They will not replace unless the manufacturer makes the change from steel back to fiberglass reinforcement's. The man doors, both of them on opposing walls, They said my house shifted and provided no proof or explanation, just walked up and said that was what happened. Windows so far are fine, but please steer clear of the doors. Same complaints as mine on the BBB site as well.
