However I recently purchased two entry doors that came with no security plates and finger jointed pine door casings that blew apart during install. I have been waiting for a call from the owner for 1.5 months. I will never purchase here again and will advise others to avoid their marginal products.

R	Reese Little on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every contractor has its problems, mistakes get made, things don't get done on time, etc. I have been using Northern for every single door and window on my house since 2012 when my wife and I bought our house. That being said, my most recent exchange with them after having another window and a back door installed was not great. I've paid Northern thousands upon thousands of dollars in the last 7 years, not to mention the referrals they have received from my wife and I. I have been travelling for work a lot lately and wasn't able to call in my Visa number to pay for their latest work immediately and received some emails regarding payment that were pretty rude in terms of their tone. You would think that returning customers (x4) would receive treatment that is a little less than that of a criminal. To add to the BS, I called in my Visa number to get my bill of $2K+ paid, to which I was told the number was invalid, I then confirmed that my Visa number was not invalid, and it turned out that it was their mistake in taking it down over the phone. The emails I received during this time were nothing short of what a bailiff or collections agency would send. To say the least, I am not impressed and will be taking my business elsewhere from this point on.
G	Guy Gascoigne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very pleased with a 5 window, same day install in July. Quote was to our liking and windows arrived within the 6-8 weeks they said they would. We have 2 dogs that need to be separated from each other so the installers worked around the house in an order that would accommodate this. The finishing both inside and out was terrific. We were most impressed with the kitchen window install. The old window trim was bounded on three sides with ceramic tiles and grout right up to the trim. A competitor who provided a previous quote said we would need to remove the bordering tiles to minimize damage during the install, but Northern Windows removed the old trim, and window, and installed the new window and trim without so much as cracking any of the grout or tiles! It was like we installed the tiles and grout after the window install. We were totally impressed. We love the windows, and can only hope that the after purchase service, should we ever need any, is just as professional.

They were friendly and informative, helping us as new home owners to understand the best type of windows, and pros and cons of different styles. Manufacture and install proceeded as scheduled and when we discovered an ant infestation, they were super helpful in pausing the work, securing the site, and coming back to finish the job after we had resolved the bug issue. Looking forward to using them again for the rest of our house.

Previously, we had our main living room window done and it made a huge difference in both aesthetics and functioning for air flow. It was a center solid, with two side crank out windows. Both jobs were done with amazing speed and quality. The men who attended for both the quote & measure and then the installs were professional, patient and took the time to explain any questions we had as well as discuss options for windows that we may not have thought of. The quality, interior and exterior finishing they did and performance of these windows are superior. Thank you for both amazing window install experiences. Next we have 3 dining room windows needing replacing, you can bet it will be with Northern Window & Door Manufacturing who will be getting our business.
