L	LolaMac on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They basically redid the work my husband did (changed spark plugs, checked/changed oil) and charged me for it - which didn't fix the issue. They didn't write down what I said was happening. I paid $100 for a mower that isn't fixed and for work my husband had already tried. They didn't address the issue with starting it, nor the evaporation of gas. I took it back after awhile as I was tired of trying to start it and gave up. It would've been nice if they had even acknowledged my trouble and said some lukewarm comment that they were sorry I was still having issues with it. Fellow on the desk was absolutely rude, smug, and condescending, and didn't write down anything again. He called me a day later, told me the gas was bad - it was brand new gas that I had been using! When I pushed back and told him that, I was spoken to in a very demeaning manner and although they said they had looked at it for free as a "favor," he said he was thinking of charging me! Its unfortunate that they've spent so much money to create a really nice looking shop, but then treat the customers badly. Flag to women, expect to be treated in a condescending manner by the new guy on the desk. Tip to owner, have your new guy learn some customer service skills and diplomacy. We typically fix our own stuff, but as the shop was close by and just starting out in a new location, we thought we'd support them...we'll be steering clear from now on.

The pick-up and delivery is a great service. The work was done without delays, the return of the snowblower was very timely. We happily recommend their service.

I haven't checked the functionality of the lawnmower yet but the snowblower came back without the correct chute cable, the old oil was drained out and no new oil went in the crankcase and the incorrect refund on the returned generic cable. I understand that nobody is perfect but to have the owner argue on the phone that he put the new oil in when it wasn't put in shows that they can't be trusted. We're just lucky that the machine still runs, hopefully there is no internal damage.

Just what we need young local owner that is helpful and effective. All my repairs and purchase will be at Northern Mobile Small Engines.
