I have a 32-year-old car. It is in reasonable working condition and I had a goal of getting the A/C system repaired. I was guided to a different shop that spent a tonne of my money and couldn’t get it working because a factory/oem part was not available. I even decided to take the car to the dealership service department that are supposed to be experts on the car. They basically were disinterested because the age of the car and the potential difficult work because it is a mid-engine car.
I called Mastertune, they had my car in the shop within two days. The OEM part I had was wrong and he rebuilt a new part with some of my old /ac compressor parts and a new compressor. He had a no-nonsense approach and had full confidence he could get it working. He did as he promised, and the car is running great with A/C. He basically owned that little car and wasn’t taking no for an answer. He did it very inexpensively.
I sat there for some of the day and watched as car after car came in. Many patrons had extra requests; not once did I hear the word no from his mouth. His ability to handle the door, the phone and still bounce around in the shop to help his junior staff was truly amazing. He easily could be taking a service advisor role and wearing a suit every day.
I was awestruck and right or wrong he is going to see that little car again. Sorry Rick!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quality Service, and very quick. I asked for a quote from the website for rear shocks for my 2013 RDX. I was called back and given a quote in short order, with the work time to be about an hour. My wife was able to bring the car in first thing in the morning the next day. She dropped the car off expecting to get it back late in the afternoon, and it was done in an hour! The car drives great and we are very happy with it. We saved quite a bit of money off the original dealer quote.

It’s easy to book an appointment, & they’re flexible. My windshield wiper broke early in the morning during a rainstorm, & it was scary as I couldn’t pull over. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got a referral to Master Tune by a guy at Mr Lube and am not disappointed. They got my suv in 15 minutes after calling and went above and beyond. My ac was blowing hot air, another mechanic who did my last oil change told me about a loose bushing that rattled pretty bad, and I needed to switch to my all season tires (two needed replacing). Not only were they able to order all necessary parts, they called back about another issue I wasn't aware of and fixed it. In 5 hours they made my vehicle feel safer and more efficient without crashing the bank. I live in Banff national park and would wager it costing 2-3 times more if I had done it locally. Will be making this my go-to shop from now. Thanks so much to Nikita and Rick for being so helpful, professional and accommodating on a Friday, during a pandemic! I'm super pleased with the work, and am glad I discovered them today.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Master Tune is the best shop I have ever used! Nikita is amazingly friendly and helpful every time I'm in, and Rick is quick and professional about his work.
I have had to come in a few times with problems on my lemon of a car, and they always get the work done in a timely manor, and update you if its going to take any longer then expected.
The pricing is phenomenal as well, not like other shops I've been to before that stick you with a major bill at the end. They haven't strayed at all on my quoted costs and explain in detail the breakdown of parts and labour extremely well.
