Well as usual it happened unexpectedly, we needed a new washer and dryer and we thought we would go with north end appliance because we heard good things and they service what they sell and this was very important to me. After purchasing, delivery and set up I had some questions why my 5 day old Maytag washer/dryer wasn't performing (drying) like the sweet talking salesman promised. I had a rude awaken when I called and spoke to John in service. Not only was I bothering him with my call he had attitude and was too busy to even ask him anything. He was sure to warn me about service costs and to make sure I really needed a service call or i would be charged. Unfortunately I didnt get to ask any more questions, I didnt even get a chance to say good bye before John hung up on me. You would think after spending thousands in their store they would be willing to help ease your frustration with kindness. North end appliance wears many faces once they have your money then they dont care who you are or what you have spent and because of that they are taking back their appliances Now! After this shameful experience I will tell friends and family to stay away from supporting this Sarnia small business! They have John to thank for the loss of this sale. Hopefully North End Appliance can get some of their staff some anger management and phone edicate training or find him a job he likes. B.M

My landlord ordered a stove for delivery today to my address. I waited home all day but the stove never arrived. My landlord provided me me the telephone number of the delivery people to call 2 hours after their scheduled delivery time. They told me that they had been here already . I have a security camera at my front door that assures me that no one has been here all day. I called the store to attempt to reschedule and they indicated it would take another full week to be delivered due to incompetence on their end even though I have already thrown out my stove this morning. said "get creative with a BBQ. Call your landlord and figure it out yourself." If this was my money being used to purchase this oven they wouldn't be getting it. Awful customer service especially for a local business.

Similar to other reviews - there is a stark contrast between sales, and service you receive after the sale. Purchased a washer from here 6 months ago and it already broke down. Been waiting on a part for almost 2 months and still no sign of delivery. Told us to call Maytag and basically figure it out ourselves. After half a dozen phone calls to Maytag and finally showing up in person to NA, we’re still without a working machine and zero answers to when it we’ll get the part. Avoid the headache. (I will edit this with an update if anything changes).

Ordered a washer & dryer and did not receive until 21 months later. Yes, 21 months. Nearly two years. Ordered a fridge, stove, dishwasher, and microwave in March, was told all pieces except the fridge were in at the store to later to be told both the fridge and stove were not available in August. Ended up having to go with a mismatched set at an additional cost of $500. No communication whatsoever from the company with any order updates. Was promised delivery of all the mismatched pieces on the same day. They did not deliver one of the pieces and said nothing about it. Called and they guaranteed delivery the next day and then did not show up. Sales person brags about a competitive advantage over big box stores because of customer service. $10,000 worth of appliances and no updates whatsoever and terrible customer service. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR HELP! We were supposed to have someone come by to look at the fridge yesterday at around noon to see why the fan kept freezing over, they never showed up, we lost half a day of work and now the fridge has burnt out over night and all of our food has gone bad. Thank you North End Appliance for sending our calls right to voice-mail when we were trying to call and see why you never showed up.

Repair tech wrongly diagnosed fault without doing full inspection, instead orders random part after 5 minute inspection and still wants to charge full amount. Company needs to hire qualified techs or not over book them to perform quality work.

Quick service! We emailed with dishwasher questions, ordered one the next morning and it was delivered the same afternoon. Very nice people with great service!! Delivery guys were great too!!

We had a fantastic experience with North End Appliance. Our washing machine died and we were able to replace it quickly. We were told it might arrive April 29th but due to supply chain issues it could be a week later. We were pleasantly surprised when it was a day early. The delivery experience was fantastic very quick and professional. I highly recommend North End Appliance and would definitely shop there again when we need new appliances.
