Dr. Zealand, or Dr. Cam as he is called by the children he treats, is our fun pediatric dentist. After spending 5 years working in the petroleum engineering field, he wanted to find a career that would allow him to teach and mentor youth while nurturing his own love for the medical field. Dr. Zealand discovered pediatric dentistry, which has allowed him to make a difference in the lives of many children.

His caring personality and sense of humor are appreciated by patients and parents alike. Dr. Zealand is committed to creating a positive environment for all those who enter his office. He takes the time, effort and energy to make everyone feel welcome.

Dr. Zealand grew up in Winnipeg attending the University of Manitoba where he received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (1995) and a Master of Science in Engineering (1997). He then returned to the University of Manitoba in 2002 and spent 4 years at the Faculty of Dentistry earning his dual degree of Bachelor of Science in Dentistry and Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2006.

Dr. Zealand operates out of North Calgary Pediatric Dentistry (NCPD). He is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

A Native of Winnipeg, Dr. Zealand moved to Calgary to enjoy the amazing lifestyle of the Rocky Mountains. He is married to his best friend, Tammy, and together have twins, son (Tate) and daughter (Siena).

During his free time he can be found mountain biking, trail running travelling and spending time with his family. But rest assured, on a beautiful fall saturday, he will still be singing “Hail to the Victors” for his Michigan Wolverines.

Dr. Zealand performs with the upmost professionalism and his experience shows in how quickly he can complete all procedures. Dr. Zealand's staff are just as amazing and really know how to make children comfortable with the whole dental care experience. My daughter is not an easy patient and has anxiety however Bobby and Eva always make her feel safe and patiently show her everything that is going to happen, step by step. Which I believe as a parent is so important in making a child comfortable at that moment and for future appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Zealand and his practice to other parents. I would not take my children anywhere else for their dental needs.

We have seen Dr.Zealand for almost 7 years, my daughter has had 2 surgical procedures at a young age, we have always been given a full understanding of the costs, treatments and options we have. My son has anxiety issues yet they can keep him calm and perform all his dental work extremely quickly that even he is surprised when it is done. My son enjoys going to the dentist! I would highly recommend Dr. Zealand for your child's dental care.

After our first experience at North Calgary Pediatric we moved both our kids over for all their dental needs. A busy parents, I've always appreciated that they're roughly on schedule and that we don't end up wasting a lot of time. Dr. Zealand makes the visits easy. He's always been able to perform required work while we are in the office - as opposed to making us come back for another appointment. This is great because then if the kids need a filling or something, they don't have time to stress about a follow-up visit. It's dealt with quick before they are even stressed about it. I would highly recommend Dr. Zealand.

Dr Zealand has excellent bed side manner, calmed my son, and was swift at the examination! My son has a condition and had to have anesthesia as he is rather fidgety. Dr.Zealand was very understanding and gave me all the options. He explained everything thoroughly and kept my mind at ease throughout the entire way! North Calgary Pediatric Dentistry is a customer friendly, & efficient business. I’m recommending to all my mom friends who need a specialist!

My son did not have a stressful experience whatsoever. Dr. Zealand explained everything to me and performed the surgery quickly.
