★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The museum has permanent displays of railway history with some hands on experiences and videos on the ground floor, and recently made over the upper floor reminiscent of old Main Street. It has smaller versions of store fronts with original articles in them, and write ups about each one, including the theatre, where a couple of folks can sit and watch a video of a parade. It's very well done, and you get a real sense of the history and people that built North Bay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place to stay and learn local history, the small train is awesome and my kids love it. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Also the waterfront is pretty new, hopefully will come back next summer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As someone from north bay, it is quite amazing to see the history of this city. There is a lot of amazing things to look at and if you have even a minor knowledge of where the future is going - you may have people listening in as you talk about how the past is helping spur future changes and the giant map REALLY helps explain all of that
Kuddos to those who manage it because it is quite fantastic. (Also the buttons for the airplanes are hidden but it is really fun hunting them!)
