β β β β β I've only got a few big ticket items from this auction so far but I am always pleased with the product for the price. I also enjoy their customer service. The owner and all his helpers are always there to lend a fast hand and very helpful.

β β β β β I've been buying items from these guys for a couple of years now. I've always had great customer service from them and help loading my stuff. They've waited a bit longer for me to come collect and when they had the bigger facility, they allowed me to store things a week longer before I could pick up. I've bought way more things that were pretty much new or needed a little elbow gease to fix up then junk. Keith and his crew have always been upfront and forth coming. And sometimes you get an item that isn't quite salvageable but that is part of the risk you take at an auction. Great selections and customer service.

β β β β β Dont waste your money, these guys are not ethic at all. I won a Coleman camping tent (as they advertised) and when i opened the box there was a damaged cheep brand tent in it.
They keep saying come and see before bidding but they rap the boxes with tape and don't let you opent the box and check what is inside

β β β β β I have been buying from North American for about 2 years now and in my opinion it is the best auction house in Calgary.
I really don't understand the people that claim that they bought broken stuff. It's an auction, not everything is brand new and if you don't have the ability to test it or you didn't look at it then the problem is with you. Some auction places don't even allow you to look at what your bidding on beforehand, while these guys allow previewing before all auctions.
I have gotten some great items through this auction and have always gotten great service and pickup is always quick and organized.

β β β β β Everything I purchased was defective. I would have rated 1 star but they do give you the option to check out the items in advance. However, the hours to view are also horrible. I tried getting replacement parts for an item and had to pay to get it shipped from the US. I learned my lesson on this one. Don't buy anything electronic or you might end up paying for that and dump fees! Service was fine but confusing on who to talk to and where to go.

β β β β β I had called to ask how to pick up as the email I received said they would contact me. So I called to see how to pick up my item. The gentleman I spoke to said he was the owner. He said I just stop in and grab it. I asked for a location and what I needed. He then got rude like I was an inconvenience. I must have missed the invoice in my email so I asked him to resend it. He started to raise his voice. I told him I was only trying to get my item. I then asked were I could leave a review which he responded he would just delete it. He then said he would just refund me and throw my item in the garbage. It was going to be donated to a shelter but thatβs ok. I asked for a confirmation email. He yelled saying I will get one that said I did not win and a refund in 3 to 30 days then hung up. I just had some questions. I would not recommend using this site if you need any customer service. Maybes he is having an off day but I did not call to upset anyone or get yelled at.
