★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Made a move with Nordtrans from Montreal to Toronto, their price was the most reasonable among many quotes I received. Billing and invoicing was very transparent and legit as well - received a quote a week in advance of the move, and that was what was paid.
As for the move, though the movers did arrive late for both pick-up and delivery, I felt the company did their best to find a solution and accommodate my schedule. Considering its cross province move, I really can't complain. From all the stories I've heard about other people's moving experience, I guess could have been much worse.
The moving process was quick and professional as well. I had many fragile furniture that had glass components, everything was protected by mattes nothing was shattered - big relief.
Despite the hiccup during the moving process, I would still definitely recommend Nordtrans to anyone needs of long distance moving.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a bad experience with the company last week. To begin with, they were supposed to arrive between 2PM to 4PM but they showed up at 6:45PM. Secondly, I had asked for 3 movers but only 2 showed up. Thirdly, I had asked for disassembly/reassembly of my bed, however, they only detached the headboard while loading and kept everything else intact. As a result, they were not able to bring the bed upstairs at my new place, and eventually, they clearly refused to disassemble and bring the bed upstairs and just left it on the ground floor. They were clearly in a hurry to wrap everything up ASAP as it was already 1AM at night.
To conclude, I do sympathize with the movers as they were working since morning in this hot and humid temparature, however, it was the responsibility of Nordtrans to arrange for movers to arrive on time and make sure that they are well rested. They won't give the clients any discount on their bill but are totally okay sending movers who are at 70% productivity level.
P.S: This was my second move with this company. The first one was back in 2015 and went really well. I'm very disappointed as I spoke highly of this company before all this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are the best moving company i have ever met. i heard a lot about their reputation and decided to take their service for moving from Montreal to Toronto in August, 2015. Their price was the lowest among all other companies. Thanks Slava and Sergio for your exact quote! Also it was the only company who loaded and unloaded my furniture on my desired dates. The loading guy were excellent. They finished loading my 2 bedroom apartment just in 2 hours. I had some extra small stuffs which were not mentioned in the quote. But they were happy to take that without any extra cost. The delivery was right on time. In 1 hour they finished unloading by placing my furniture at the appropriate place. The price was the same, never asked to give extra money before unloading which is a common practice of many movers. i recommend NordTrans without any doubt!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good service for the price. Showed up on time fully prepared and equipped. Angelo, Donald, and Rustam were our movers and they were professional and courteous, and worked at a reasonable pace given the hot weather. Very pleased with the movers. Office staff are nice enough, and the online quoting system is effective. Just make sure to estimate the number of boxes. Size of the box doesn't matter - a box is a box - so use larger boxes, but not so large to strain the workers. Would use this service again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used Nordtrans on July 1st 2019. They were efficient, polite, and cheaper than most movers on that date. They also arrived on time and called me to say they were on their way. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
Edit: I moved with them again in April 2020. Excellent service as usual, they showed up on time and did not waste time. I recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time using Nordtrans services, and I am not gonna use them again for sure. They came on time, with a rented truck (??). They evaluated the time to pack at 2h max, it took 3h30 for a small 3 1/2. The driving time between the two places is 15 min, took them 45 min, they argue about traffic, it was a SUNDAY AFTERNOON, no traffic, I did the same path with my car that day, it took 15 min. Finished the job at 6h total, plus 1h, so total they charged 7h, even tho I also helped them with a few things. They took breaks, they were super slow, one guy had to constantly instruct the other so it took forever. One time, they wanted to dismantle my bed frame cause it couldn't fit in a door frame, I told them it does, but still, they went to get their tools, so by myself took the bed frame and pass it through the door frame and lay it in the bedroom, ffs. I overpaid by about 2 to 2 and half hours. Oh, and they forced me to pay cash, saying the office was closed on Sunday, which wasn't true. These guys are crooks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have a mixed review for this company. Two movers caused much damage to my walls and broke my antique sofa. They were polite but clearly un-experienced. The company reimbursed me an amount but not enough to compensate for my damage goods. The insurance offered is a a joke as they estimate by sofa to be 50$ while it is worth x10 more.
I am giving them 2 stars instead of 1 star as they were reasonable and accepted that a mistake was made and I appreciate that. I believe they will try for better service in the future. They was a lot of arguing for them to accept their faults and tried to make me feel guilty for asking compensation.
They were always responsive to my complaints and acted accordingly. I would recommend them if you only have boxes and very simple things to move. Don't expect to have true professionals that have years of experience, but if you need extra hands for a SIMPLE move they will do OK and have competitive pricing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No respect for the reservation or the contract whatsoever. I schedualed the first time in the after noon on the 31 of october. Call me back 3 weeks later to tell me it needs to be in the morning because it turn out, even if i reserved it and payed the 100$ deposite, they did have the man to follow the aggrement. So i agreed and took the morning. I reserved 2 guys and a 20 foot truck. On there arrival. They had a cargo van.... had to do 2 trips and they charged me for both trips. Its obviously faster in one trip then 2 and easier to laod a 20 foot truck then a cargo van being crouached all the time. So 1 star is being genorous if you ask me. Oh yeah. And they asked for measurement of all my appliances the day before. And arrived late. They said around 8-9 they arrived at 9-10. Who ever reads this i wish you better luck than i got with them. The guys who worked with were nice though. But everything that happened to had nothing to do with them, it was all admistration that caused me all the mess.
