My experience with nordia nanaimo was just incredible. Great trainers and amazing working environment. Team hypes and excellent team building activities which the team brings in actually builds up a better value for both the employee and the business itself. So proud to be a part of Nordia.

It's a great place to work. I worked there for a year. The management is super cool and very co-operative. Great salary and benefits. The job sometimes is stressful.

I have worked for a lot of employers over the years and this one is by far the very best one I have ever worked for. I highly recommend working here. We are all like one big family. Management and trainers are super awesome.

Great management team. They were all very supportive while I went thru a very difficult time. The folks I worked with on my team and others were incredibly helpful and great to work with.

This business was my home for 7 years, I went through numerous positions, from leadership roles to basic "grunt" work answering calls. I considered this place to be safe and friendly, management seemed to genuinely care, and my career was thought to be stable. Fast forward to covid. We were (of course) all shipped off to home in march of 2020. There we stayed for nearly 2 years. At first I appreciated the trust and convenience of working from home. But it was not long after that the "human" aspect of the business became lost. I was no longer a living breathing human being that needed working equipment to do my job (often times taking months to fix issues). The "support" they claimed to provide for mental health was weeks to month long waits. I was struggling as I had no differentiation between work and home (that whole work/life balance is ruined when you never leave your house) Instead of offering help and assistance to an intelligent, caring, well-spoken and empathetic human being. They terminated me, on november 4th, with no notice, no severence, under the guise of "incompetance". Was I close with anyone in the call center? No, and that's likely why it was easy for them to terminate me the way they did. To add salt in the wound, they didn't file my ROE until Early december (illegal according to BC employment standards), They have not responded to my request for my Employment Contract (once again illegal) And now, more than 2 months later, they are further delaying my ei claim by not responding to the government at all. If you appreciate your humanity, and working with those that respect and appreciate your contribution to society, this is not the place for you. If you're a soul sucking waste of flesh, who's only desire is to milk the earth of her bounty with little regard for the consequences or who you harm in the process, apply, I'm sure they'll love you and promote you. Bonus points if you love selling useless products (home phone/Cable TV) to our most vulnerable citizens (The elderly, or those with mental, physical, or developmental impairments). I am sad that human beings like this exist on earth, and continue to do harm to those that would risk there own life to better yours. If you want to do your part, don't # bell lets talk, Don't agree to their subsidiary brands (virgin, lucky, the source) these individuals are corrupt (what else is new) Start voting with your wallets folks. Spend your time with those who appreciate your contribution, in the small and the large. Apply at Shaw, even Telus (though equally as corrupt) expose these clowns for who they really are. How can a company operate without any staff? They can't. How can a company maintain profits without a customer base? They can't. Snuff the virus out before it does any more damage to canada or it's people. Be the vaccine for what's left of our humanity, before it's erroded away from the inside out. This is much more dangerous than the common cold, covid, the flu and aids combined. Be safe, be kind, be compassionate, give your love and your precious time to those that appreciate you. Hopefully this dissuades at least one good soul from tarnishing themselves for the sake of a moderately decent wage.

Horrible horrible place to work. Not only is there no work life balance but when you leave they try to deduct pay for equipment and not pay out benefits. This is truly a terrible place to invest your time. Pay is also not competitive at all. I would never recommend this job to anyone.
