★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place has been revamped and looks really nice, new and modern. Quick, cheap and fast and really friendly staff. I'd recommend to anyone for breakfast, lunch is good too but I love their breakfast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to have smoke meat. Hockey game was on all of the TVs there is a bar and eating area. Nice decor, service was great and fast. Food was as expected. Desert was average.
Unlimited foutain drinks with a drink purchase. Decently afforable.

Restaurant dining is good, but takeout had issues 3 out of 4 times where there was something wrong - no dressing, key salad ingredient missing (like feta cheese in a greek salad), missing chickpeas (no protein)...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food and service was very good. I had a club sandwich and it was really stuffed with a lot of chicken. I'm glad they didn't close down. This is a great place for a family meal or just meeting up with friends.

The prices are good not outrageously high like St Hubert.
Food is tasty and of good quality. Place was clean and friendly staff .
Will go again for sure .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I used to go to this restaurant 20 years ago. Was an amazing place. Today, after 20 years, we brought our 2 kids to the restaurant for the first time. Wow, not the same place it used to be. Empty dining room on a Saturday evening. Quality of the Food is not great. We got some nearly stale desserts. We are not the type to return food to the kitchen. You have 1 chance to impress us. The 4 of us got bad stomach aches an hour after we left.
My advice, if you don’t sell a product regularly, take it off the menu instead of serving semi stale food, occasionally.
Please, I don’t need the administrators to reply to this review. I won’t be coming back. The reason for this review is simply to advise the owners of the lack of food quality in their establishment. Yes, I know, Nickels is not a fine dining restaurant but other restaurants serving your type of food have a quality product for the same price and sometimes cheaper.
