Recently, after starting a new stretching regime I started to have challenges with my feet when running. The service Omari provided was first rate. He first got me an older model to try out and compare against the new version of the shoes I had been using. After that provided limited results we decided to see if something had changed in my profile... It turned out that my stretching regime (including balancing exercises) had improved my arches and so the shoes I needed changed after all of these years and Omari got be properly outfitted.

Helpful and friendly staff, knowledgeable. My husband and I were looking for waterproof trainers. Store was reasonably well-stocked for styles and sizes and they immediately offered to bring in anything they didn't have. Ended up purchasing 1 men's waterproof (which were on sale) and for me a new pair of runners (same style as my current pair) and will go back when waterproofs come in from the other location/warehouse. Store is bright and neat. Lots of staff to assist. Was not rushed at all.

During a previous visit an employee ordered 4 pairs of shoes -2 pairs from 2 different stores . I was told it would take a few days. I called after 5 days and 2 pairs were in from 1 store. That is when I went July 9. The salesperson was told by me that there were 2 pairs that were held for me. He brought 1 pair out. Person needed to be told again that there were 2 held pairs. I tried both on and they did not fit. I needed 1/2 size bigger. I asked if they had that size- answer no. And no offer to look on the computer to see if other stores had my size. I asked why it was taking so long to get the other 2 pairs. “Sometimes it takes that long” person did not make any effort to try to trace the shoes or help me. Since then I found my shoes from a store in British Columbia- delivered in a week. What a difference. I will not be back to your store

The rep that helped me was kind and did help me consider some options for a new pair of shoes. I ultimately felt like they were trying to upsell me on a pair that I did not need though. On this second occasion I went to return something and I found the rep rude and unhelpful. I think that good customer service involves trying to problem solve with the customer and make sure all available options are presented before sending them away. That was not done here and I ultimately had to suggest something that would work which resulted in the refund being completed. What would have happened if I just accepted their answer as fact? I love new balance but not this store.
