Awful customer care. Only have warranty for 90 days... And then refuse to help with reseting something as simple as a username and password...something so simple turned so complicated.

I will NEVER purchase another NETGEAR item and I will warn others to do the same! A complete waste of $200+! They would not help me reset password on my extender, after the cable company sent me new modem, so I could reconfigure.

Purchased an Arlo Pro Security system and was great for the first 11 months and then the batteries started to fail ( I have 7 cameras). Called the support number and waited on hold for 51 minutes until I was able to talk with a body that happened to be in the Philippines, total time on the phone was ONE HOUR & TEN MINUTES. They agreed to send me a new battery and sent me an email confirmation and I received the new battery within 4 business days, all great except the wait time. Now after the second battery dies the customer service completely disappears, they would tell me they were going to ship another replacement battery and it never happens!! As I told them, just do what you tell me you are going to do, but clearly they just don't care, no self pride!! NETGEAR, sends what they say is customer service offshore, and it is a joke, yes they may save some money by sending customer service offshore, but you turn a great product into a nightmare as there is no customer service. Talked with Jeff, Leslie, Jem, Chris in CUSTOMER NOT SERVICE after huge wait times just to find out they don't do what they say they are going to do (as in take care of your problem), I have spent over THREE HOURS on the phone trying to get replacements for the three batteries that have failed so far. The batteries for the Arlo Pro are clearly defective as their life span seems to be 1 year or less and then they just stop recharging. Do your research, as if there is a product out there that is good and they have great customer service, but that product STAY CLEAR OF NETGEAR ARLO PRO, product great, horrible customer NOT service!!

RUN AND AVOID! 0 STARS, ZERO STARS!!! I use to love NetGear, but now their products are crap. Bought a Wifi extender; it only comes with 6 moths warranty, seriously? When a manufacturer will only warranty a product for such a short and low period of time; you know the build and quality is not there. SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Perhaps TP-Link, the reviews are looking pretty solid for their stuff.
