We are looking forward to hosting your stay in 2022.

As guests depart, we completely sanitize each cottage, including the use of a fogging machine. Once that disinfectant has had time to dry and be effective, we then undertake a full cleaning and preparation of the cottage for incoming guests.

This takes a minimum of 4 hours per cottage. We are often asked why guests are not allowed to check in early. We will not compromise the cleaning and sanitation process.

Our continued goal is the health and wellbeing of our guests as well as the community of Tobermory.

We were weary about going away during COVID-19, but this place was the perfect choice as Kim did an extremely thorough job cleaning and sanitizing everything. It was a hidden gem - a cute little cottage (4 cottages on the property, each with a BBQ and fire pit) right on an inlet to the lake. We tried out the kayaks, enjoyed our meals out on the deck, and spent the days exploring the nature trails and beaches nearby. Kim was so helpful and responsive, and made an effort to get to know us. This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway and superb hospitality! We hope to come back next summer!

Upon arrival, Kim happily greeted us and welcomed us to our cottage. The cottage was perfect! It was so clean both inside and outside on the grounds. You can tell that Kim takes great pride in caring for the cottages, and in looking after the needs of her guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and hope to return! Thank you, Kim! We miss you and Cypress Cottage already!
S	Sheilana Dela Cruz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kim was so friendly, kind and hospitable from the moment we set foot into Neptune's Hideaway. We did not meet her husband, but heard great things about him ;) I almost did not want to leave a review to really keep it a hideaway but I also need to rave about our amazing stay. My partner and I have only been to Tobermory twice before and stayed within Little Tub Harbour at motels. This time around, we came with another couple and the Huron Cottage was the perfect space for us. The view took my breath away immediately and I could not wait to unload our belongings, put on a swim suit and kick up my feet. I really enjoyed being a bit further from all the hustle and bustle of Little Tub Harbour but the drive into town is just under 10 minutes away anyways! From the view, cleanliness, comfy beds, helpful provisions (BBQ, fire pit, kayaks, towels etc.) and excellent host we all enjoyed our getaway. The only unfortunate thing is we were unable to get out onto the kayaks and into the lake as we packed our days with hikes and beaches. After a packed day, we would just head back to cook and enjoy a drink by the fire pit. The easy access to Lake Huron and relaxing atmosphere however, gives us more reason to return to Neptune's!! We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights but will probably stay longer next time to really appreciate the cottage. We can't wait to be back..thank you Kim for a wonderful getaway!
O	Outdoor Love on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Neptune's Hideaway was THE best vacation. My fiance and I and our 11 month old son stayed at Huron Cottage for 2 weeks. The cottage was the perfect size for our family. Kim was SUPER amazing, and very responsive. Kim goes out of her way to treat her guests like family. We had an amazing time kayaking and exploring the surrounding Bruce peninsula as well. The inlet on the grounds is perfect for first time kayakers, with lots of fish to look at! I enjoyed snorkelling with them as well! We enjoyed our morning talks with Kim when she came to pick up garbage, and we loved that she took time out of her morning to chat with us :) We felt very reassured by her above and beyond attitude towards cleanliness, hosting and all around business. The cottage was super clean, and so lovely. Kim and her husband run a fantastic business, and are wonderful people to know! Definitely returning, 5 stars all around!
A	April Last on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful stay with amasing hosts! Great location-right in the middle of all the sight seeing spots and town. Gorgeous quiet spot with awesome accommodations. Good quality kayaks and paddle board. Tons of mosquitoes around 8pm but gone by 10pm. We were there with our 3 teenagers. We highly recommend.
A	Alena Barkar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in Superior Cottage (a family of 4). Location is great - 15 min drive to best hikes and town of Tobermory. Very cosy, quiet and exceptionally clean place. Hosts are amazing and very accommodating. Special thanks to Kim who was so kind to wash my sheets with unscented product before we came. It made a huge difference for me. The cottage does not have AC but is equipped with fans in each room, so it was ok at night even with + 30 outside during the day. Kayaks are great, and the area is shallow enough to kayak with the kids. We had a great stay and would recommend! Thank you Neptunes Hideaway!

We absolutely love this cottage: steps to the water, SUP board and kayaks provided (very reasonable rental fee for the entire stay), nice cottage and also the hospitality from the owners Kim and Michael. We had a fabulous vacation there and would definitely recommend it. Even my 6 year old son gave it a two thumbs up!

It's quite far from the town itself but this is better because it's quiet. The price and the quality of the place is really good. I mean, you get your own barbecue grill and your own bonfire place. The owner, Kim, is really great, very helpful, and very accommodating. We had one day that our trip to Flower Pot Island got canceled and she helped me and introduced me to some places. This place is highly recommended! ?? Will definitely go back here again.
