Cedar Escape Cottages is conveniently located in the beautiful town of Tobermory, steps away from all amenities, attractions and activities including tour boat operators, Chi - Cheemaun ferry, shopping, restaurants, Divers Den, harbor etc. Getting around town could not be any easier and don't be surprised if you barely find the need to use your vehicle during your stay with us.
Our unique set up of cottages allows for clean, affordable and comfortable accommodations for all groups and families of various sizes. Our cottages have also become a very popular accommodation choice for many Scuba diver groups from across Ontario and Quebec. All cottages are pet friendly and come equipped with most amenities that one is accustomed to from home including full kitchen, high speed internet, free wifi, sat TV, bbq + propane, fire pit, etc.

DON'T hahaha.
Luckily, by chance, I contacted cedar escape cottages and they had a vacancy.
We headed straight there, and now we are 100% returning for many years.
Dean is one of the most genuine people I've met in quite some time.
The cottage was absolutely perfect for my family of 6, and we had more fun than I think I can remember during our brief stay.
Perfect location, excellent accomodations and honestly the guy to ask for what to do around the area.

My family and I will be contacting you for reservations well in advance next time. I've already refered people I know as well haha.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow. The church cottage and chapel cottage are AMAZING. Great for a group, Dive Kawartha brought a group of diver up for the weekend and stayed here in the two cottages combined to one big one. Huge space with lots of beds, a great big table for groups, a pool table and an indoor swing. ?
Dean was wonderful and very accommodating. The location was perfect, just across the street from Divers Den - the best dive operation in the area.
We will definitely be back to this cottage

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ wish i could give more rating if possible. best place to stay and its quite near to all location and top of that the owner was so friendly that i never felt of away of home.. highly recommended more than that owner took care of ours just like family and made sure that we dont face any problem. Best snack shop where he has all variety of food also some international dishes.Best icecream served...... thanks dean..for all support and taking care of our group.... planning a another trip soon

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed for two nights at the end of July and we were very pleased with our cottage and how close it was to everything. It was less than a two minute walk to the Marina, restaurants and ferry bookings. The sunsets by the lake were gorgeous and also just a couple of minutes away. The cottage was clean cozy and comfortable and the gas BBQ was very convenient. We will definitely stay there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to give more stars if that was an option. Truly magnificent and wonderful. The host Dean is very nice and helpful person, he made sure we felt at home for our entire visit. We didn’t even feel like, we are meeting a unknown person. With the cottage, there is also a food truck. Lots of option for vegan and yess ice cream too ?. Was a memorable visit and we are already planning for the second visit. Will surely recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has been one of my favourite local vacations. Dean is amazing and the cottage was perfect for a party of 11. Cottage was clean and spacious. The pool table was a bonus. The shack at the back of the property was available all day for delicious bites! Thank you very much Dean for providing a facility that's worth every penny!

The host Dean is very friendly and nice… he was answering all our questions and needs.
The Grand cottage was very good for 10 people and it was clean and has what you need.
