Nepean Family Dental

Yesterday was my first appointment with Nepean Family Dental. Great location, ample parking, modern office and equipment, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the list goes on. I was greeted warmly and given straightforward forms to complete in the reception area. The dental hygienist, Sara, was welcoming and made me feel instantly comfortable. She talked with me about the issues I was there for as well as the process as it went along (x-rays, etc.). When it came time for the cleaning, she worked quickly while doing an amazing job with my teeth and gums. I enjoyed speaking with Dr. Brar after my cleaning. She addressed my concerns and ensured that all of my questions were answered. This was the best experience I've ever had with a dental clinic and I highly recommend Nepean Family Dental.

I had broken a tooth on a Friday afternoon and was seen first thing on Monday. I have a lot of anxiety with dentists and needles but I was made very comfortable and the procedure was painless. Thank you so much for your patience with me.

Due to Covid my son has not been to the dentist in a while and was understandably nervous... The staff were quite friendly and welcoming, and his hygienist was extremely patient and did a fantastic job of getting him to relax during his exam, cleaning, x-ray and flouride application. It was a positive experience as always and i would highly recommend it to anyone.

I am really satisfied and happy for the great service I received yesterday. It was my first time and the lady (sorry I forgot her name ?) She was awesome and very detailed with her work. Receptionist is friendly too! And of course the dentist! Thank you and see you next year!❤️.

I had chipped a filling and called a few dental clinics in the Ottawa region to inquire about pricing, especially because I don't have insurance coverage. Having received a very reasonable price for a check-up and X-ray, I decided to book with 'Nepean Family Dental.' I can sincerely and gladly say that three things stood out: exceptional customer service, transparency, and extremely fair pricing (in accordance with dental guidelines)! Not long after arriving, I was screened for my temperature and ushered into the dental room, where I had one of the most pleasant conversations with one of their dental hygienists (Angie). She was incredibly kind, energetic, and took great care to relate about mutual interests with transparency about pricing (because she personally understands the difficulty of making payments without insurance). The dentist who completed my filling was also very kind and opted out of an X-ray that I'm sure neighbouring dental clinics in Ottawa would've encouraged and charged extra for (given my interaction with their staff when searching for the 'right' fit). Lastly, my conversation with another staff member (Cindy) was also met with great courtesy and transparency. Cindy shared that there was no fee to transfer my patient file from another town because it was a simple click of a button after filling out the relevant forms. According to other clinics in Ottawa, it would've costed over $200 for what I would think is the same process of 'button-clicking.' This taught me two things: first, that 'Nepean Family Dental' truly lives up to their reputation and the other positive ratings seen on Google; and second, that it's important to do one's research when looking into healthcare services rather than committing to the first place that is called (as I almost did). I will certainly be transferring over to this clinic given the overwhelmingly positive experience I've had today, and hope to see the same staff members in the near future!
