★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This company is for-profit, meaning they profit off of vulnerable and disabled children while underpaying and hiring under-qualified staff to make more. Their scheduling and management team is very rude and unprofessional, demoting their staff with no notice and not allowing staff to call in even due to sickness, family emergencies, or having someone close to you pass. They pay you the rate of a babysitter when you are dealing with potentially dangerous behaviours and situations. They will mark you as unavailable 24/7 rather than having the decency to fire you. Job security is terrible, they will cut or change your shifts with little to no notice. I have never been more disgusted at a company than this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We needed help caring for our mom as she was soon returning from the hospital after surgery. We called Neighbourhood Nurse to ask about setting up care. They quickly set up a care plan and introduced a caregiver to mom the same day. We are so happy with their service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This organization was a Godsend for my parents and my family. The Nurses and staff were very caring towards my parents. The entire team used effective communication, with myself, my parents and my parents' doctor. There is nothing they cannot do. An R.N saw my parents every two weeks. She reported all ailments to me and to my parents doctor. A lovely nursing student saw my parents weekly. She helped with cleaning bathrooms, mopping floors, going through the fridge to make sure all food was safe to eat. She topped off every visit with playing a lovely card game with them.
This was the best solution we could have asked for during these crazy pandemic times.
I highly recommend Neighborhood Nurses to anyone going through transitioning with parents as they age. You will not be disappointed.

They have dedicated care coordinators and caregivers that are passionate about making a difference, they will go the extra mile when setting up care and caring for your loved one. I would recommend this home care company because they will provide excellent service for any member of your family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called Neighbourhood Nurse to ask if they could help with Personsal care, medication reminders and companionship for my parents. They sent a wonderful caregiver to see them 3 days a week. We live in Vancouver and could not travel to Saskatoon very often. Neighbourhood Nurse was able to give our family peace of mind know that they were taken care of. The care coordinator was compassionate and very helpful at finding the best caregiver for them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our family hired Neighbourhood Home Care to provide care for my father. Dad needed extra support that the family could not give as we lived out of town. The caregiver was so helpful and soon become part of the family. My dad was resistant at first but soon warmed up to her. She helps with personal care and companionship. We don’t know what we would have done without her kind words and professional care. We would highly recommend Neighbourhood Home Care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were referred by a family friend that had used Neighbourhood Home Care. when we called they set up a consultation with our family. Our mother was being discharged from the hospital the same day and we needed a caregiver to stay over night to ensure mom was going to be safe. The caregiver was so helpful with the personal care mom needed. She also reminded her of the medications she needed to take, and cooked some of moms favourite meals. Thanks again!
