They’re clean, spacious, and so well laid out - everything you could want for a weekend is thought of and provided for you. The area is perfect for adventuring - hiking, biking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, or heading to the lake in the warmer weather. If you’re looking to relax, the cabin is filled with games, a cozy fireplace, and there’s even a gorgeous sheltered CookHouse you can unwind in! The hosts were super friendly and had tons of recommendations of things to do in the area, and they were happy to answer any questions we had. I can’t recommend this place enough - we are already planning our next trip there!
t	terry andryo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WOW!!! Such an incredible place to get away from it all. Tanya and Jerry are fantastic. The cabins are immaculate and so cozy! Loved our time in the cook house. One of the most relaxing times ever. We also loved checking out the bubbles in Abraham Lake. So cool. One word that really described it well for us is HYGGE- A calm, comfortable time with people you love, a complete absence of frustrations or anything emotionally overwhelming. Often with good food and drinks, warm blankets and candlelight. This is happiness. Look forward to going back.

We enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the sunshine and using the hot tub. Tanya is an excellent host; she answered questions and made sure we were comfortable. We are looking forward to another visit and will make a plan to use the cookhouse next time! We highly recommend a visit to Nature's Getaway Nordegg!

Coffee and tea provided as well as milk in the fridge! Such a wonderful cozy place , beds comfy! Fireplace all ready to go ! Hosts Tanya and Jerry were charming and so welcoming ! Property is beautiful and the cookhouse is such a fun place to spend time making a meal on the cook stove, playing games, visiting or just relaxing with a book ! Highly recommend Natures Getaway! ??
M	Mico M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Book here if you want a real Canadian getaway! My wife and I stayed at Nature's Getaway Nordegg in January 2022 inside the Cozy Bear Cabin. The scenery was simply spectacular; we felt so immersed in nature and really felt the "cabin in the woods" vibe. The cabin itself was very well furnished, cozy but also spacious, especially since it was just the two of us staying. We also had a chance to use the cookhouse which was warm and well decorated. We cooked steaks and played a few games on the table. Lastly the hot tub outside was an absolute treat. There is nothing more amazing than being in a hot tub outdoors in the woods while it's snowing. Amazing stay and would 100% look to book again.

The cabins are private, clean and beautiful and they have everything you need in order to make your stay comfortable. That cast iron wooden stove, in the spacious yet cozy cookhouse was one of our top highlights! It was a winter wonderland when we were there with close and easy access to many hiking trails, frozen waterfalls and of course the stunning views of Abraham Lake. The surroundings are breathtaking, the hosts were spectacular and we can’t wait until the next time! - J&S

There were personal touches everywhere and it was clear Tanya and Jerry have put a lot of thought into everything. The beautiful forest and path just behind the cabin was convenient and peaceful. I really enjoyed cooking on the wood fire stove in the cook house and soaking in the hot tub under the stars. I cannot recommend this getaway enough. You need to go!

They are also the kindest people ever! This place is so good for weekend getaways, hosting small retreats and workshops, team building weekends, small weddings and elopements or just a solo trip! You won’t regret booking Nature’s Getaway. 110% recommend.
