About Nature Doctors
Zonulin is a chemical that is released when the gut becomes inflamed and porous. Think of your bowel like a long tube made of square or rectangular blocks. These blocks fit tight so not to allow food particles outside of the bowel. What happens when you sprain your ankle? It swells. The same thing happens with your gut except the square blocks now swell and more closely resemble beach balls. Now try to build an impermeable wall with beach balls! You can’t. There are too many gaps in a wall made of spheres. This is where the concept of leaky gut comes from.
As small particles of food go through the gaps, the immune system comes into contact with them and mounts a reaction. This is how food sensitivities are born. By testing for Zonulin and food sensitivities, then removing the offending foods – your body can heal and the gaps can become tight again. Quite often, the patient does not need to remove the food forever, just until the gut heals.

From the very first time we met with Dr. Jason he gave us the confidence that he would do everything he could to make things right. His professionalism & knowledge along with his compassion truly sets him apart from other doctors we’ve dealt with in the past. The entire staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Even though we live hundreds of kilometers away from the clinic they have all been very accommodating and supportive. After several months under Dr. Jason’s care and treatment protocol for Lyme disease I feel that my husband has turned a corner and I am seeing improvements every day. Would highly recommend this clinic & Dr. Jason to others.

Not only is she compassionate and knowledgeable, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such care for a patient as a person with outstanding medical care. I highly recommend The Nature Doctors!

Also, the ladies on the reception are friendly, helpful and always willing to accomodate any situation that may arise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have attended this clinic for several years, and have had good results. Doctors are very down to earth and talk in a language that I can understand. Also like the paperwork they supply after our meeting, outlining discussion and plan moving forward. Also amazed at how often the girls at the front desk remember my name! Sure don't get that very often at other businesses. Only beef.....and this seems to be common with doctors I see, here or in other places....when I arrive I expect them to be up to speed about our most recent visit, so we can start off discussion from there....so often the doctors will ask questions about our last visit, and what supplements/pills are you on, etc......I would really appreciate them checking my file before I arrive, so we don't have to spend a lot of time reviewing what I remember and know. It takes up my time, plus the doctor has not had any time getting in the know of my situation before I arrive.
