Super helpful, car was warmed up and I was processed quickly.

Clean office and efficient stuff. Got my car picked up and paperwork sorted out in less then 5 min.

Worst customer service ever. Rude staff. They also mailed me other customers invoices. Very disappointed. Find another option if you can.

Super rude staff . They even don’t care about a person if he can speak english or not if i called on behalf of the guy female staff said thats none of my business. Disappointing service.

I highly advise against using National Car Rental at the Smithers Airport. If you do expect to be gouged for all sorts of hidden fees that were not in your rental contract .I received a car with milkshake all over the console along with other garbage I had to clean out of the car. The contract didn’t state that I had X amount of km it was not filled out at all by them it was blank .I was given the keys and told to go find my car. Without any sort of walk around whatsoever. I literally had to use the panic button to find it . After receiving my invoice I noticed I was charged over $200 dollars extra over top of he rental rate in extra km . I had the car for 2 days. I was also emailed pictures of some mess between the seats claiming to be from me and charged another $250 There is also an airport fee they charge you on top of everything .I called there to clairify my bill because I had some questions I was very polite , I asked about the extra charges and how they justified a cleaning fee when they didn’t even do a walk around to have me sign anything she said they don’t do walk around an told me to call a 1800 number. I had one more question and her answer was YOUR JUST REPEATING YOURSELF and hung up . I did manage to get ahold of someone at head office and she was very professional .She took the time and helped me out with the extra charges and reversed them , I wish I could give her a 5 star rating , I was advised that the manager at the Smithers location would be doing a follow up call and he never did, that just goes to show there lack of interest in there customers satisfaction hence The negative review . I go up to Smithers for business a lot and I will be using one of the other company’s up there.

Hidden fees for excess distance and other things. I got charged 1450$ instead of their estimated 500$. Not sure why you would rent a car if you're not driving it. Also failed to provide a receipt. Been trying to email and call them for weeks now and no reply.

I’ve rented from them a few times, and each time I’ve had great customer service. Staff are always friendly and go the extra mile to meet my needs (including the manager meeting me outside operating hours to get me my rental - much appreciated!). Vehicles have always been spotless and well maintained. Highly recommend.

No hassles or waiting. Car was ready at the airport when I arrived. I had previously used a local company but paid huge mileage fees. I’ll use National again.
