★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service at this location is excellent, some of the time the fleet in stock is pretty good, the fleet though has some high mileage vehicles. They need to be replaced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paul at National Car Rental and Sales in Courtenay was an absolute pleasure to work with. No fuss when we changed our criteria for the used car we were looking to buy, and then super helpful in tracking down the car that we did want. Then the folks at National located it, had it serviced, and ready to go in the next couple of days. We've had our new-to-us Forester for a week and keep finding new things to get excited about. Thank you Paul!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was verbally told by the manager I would only be charged one day (since I used the car for work and would be able to return it until 30 min after the 24hr mark). So instead of leaving work early (which I could have) I returned the car an hour later with the promise I Would not be charged. And guess what?I was charged for an extra entire day and was told that "the boss checks the camera"! So now it's my responsibility to pay an extra $60 once this is clearly a company issue and miscomunication. Too bad I cant give 0 starts. Definetly not using them or recommending ever again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They went above and beyond in customer service. Landed in the middle of the night and staff were extrememly friendly and helpful. Spoke to manager at one point and he too was very impressive. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband needed a last minute rental to zip to Victoria . When we called to see if they could accommodate us last minute Ian was great right from the beginning to the end of the phone call . Nice young man . When we came in that night to pick up so we could get going first thing we met with Jenn who was wonderful and made sure to go over the contract tooth and nail. She even pulled the car up front for us so we could have some better light to go over the car. Nice clean car with very low mileage . Returning the car was a breeze and met again with a nice gentleman at the desk . Good job National , 100% recommend to anyone !
