Over the years, the Location at Montreal Airport (YUL) has provided me with consistently excellent service and a variety of clean, newer cars. Always good to be greeted by Simeon when I return the vehicle. Very satisfied. Well done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been an executive member with National Car rental company for a few years, but have never written a review for a specific location. With that said, almost always National is the easiest company to rent from once you set up an Emerald Club account.
I just wanted to comment about this specific location at Montreal airport (YUL). The gentleman and young lady working this morning in the Emerald Club pick up area, January 1, 2020, I felt went above and beyond my expectations and made my experience perfect.
They were working during a holiday and couldn’t have been kinder. Well done!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never rent with this location at night the agents are nasty and they are not giving service at all even if you have a confirmed reservation you won’t get a car,
Please make sure to rent only during the day the agents during the day are super helpful with five star service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Montreal airport location. My overall experience was good, however there was construction going on around the area and it was very difficult to find where to return the vehicle. There are visual NO SIGNS for directions to the return center. I would recommend leaving extra early for returning vehicles at this location. Very poor experience for returning vehicle. I’m disappointed with National Rental Car.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a car 2-3 days before flying to montreal, in order for me to go to Toronto. Once i get there, the agent told me that she can’t give me the car as I’m an international student, and i do not have a canadien driver’s license. I told her that back in 2021 i rented a car from Enterprise with my foreign driver licence. She told me that her manager won’t let her and that even if i tried at enterprise they wouldn’t give me the car(since she was managing both enterprise and national car rentals). So at 11pm, I had to try at another rental place, fortunately the guy at Budget was really nice he told me that i just needed to use a credit card with the same issuing country as the one on my driver’s license, which i did and yeah i ended being able to get a car! Really upsetting to arrive after a 10hrs flight to deal with a poor customer service!
