Nando's PERi-PERi

Update: We tried this Nando's again after talking to the manager, and we are very impressed with how much better the food is now! The chicken was fresh, hot, and juicy. The fries were nicely done and spiced. The coleslaw was fresh, chill, and crisp. And the garlic bread was delicious. Thanks so much to the manager for putting up with us and serving us a very great meal! She's very sweet and really does care. If this is what we can expect when we come in, we will definitely be back, and often!

This was my first time ordering Nando's. The pictures I provided pretty much sum up my experience with this Nando's location. I'll start off by saying the only positive thing about the food - the chicken that weren't burned to crisp, was delicious. Now for the bad part... I really can't understand how a restaurant finds it appropriate and acceptable to serve customers completely burnt food. As customers, we provide patronage to these restaurants, and it's only fair we get decent quality food in return? But I think this Nando's doesn't want repeat customers. This was my first and will be my last order from Nando's.

Amazing chicken and spicy sauces! I loved the interior layout and decor. Reminds me of the locations in Europe. The staff were super kind and the food was brought out in a timely manner. Great tasting food! Wheelchair accessible.

I have been going to Nando's since it first came to Abbotsford.I always get the quarter chicken breast and large peri fries. Yesterday I called my order in for same asking to have my order packed for a longer transit as I do not live in Abbotsford.I arrived paid for my order and was told it would be a few minutes.I say and waited...during this time a person arrived in the kitchen with a spray bottle of??and proceeded to spray floor around the back and side of grill floor as food was cooking.This same person came back with a mop and bucket the mop was filthy and proceeded to mop floor,meantime fries were cooked and placed in container and put under a heater. There was a girl cooking during this time. I did see a breast of chicken on the grill which was taken off and put aside under no heat.A new person arrived and places multiple pieces of chicken on the grill and starts preparing these,meanwhile the original fries and chicken are still sitting there.Yhey suddenly realize that my order wasn't filled yet so the girl at the front packs up my order and gives it to me This almost half a hour later,meanwhile the guy who washed the floor comes into the line and starts to prepare food without gloves.Did he wash his hands???I know the guy cooking the chicken and chopping it up didn't have gloves on. I got home of course the fries were cold as well as the chicken needed to heat up .The fries were overcooked to start with and trying to reheat this meal was a disaster.For over $16 for this is unacceptable. I love Nando's and their food has always been good but now they don't seem to care will I go back depends on if the up their standards and start to care about their customers and the quality and food safe issues with their food and staff.

You know, this place was actually delicious and exactly what I needed. I had a bowl with avocado. So good! I found the spice chart very wrong though, and the employee just paraphrased it when we asked for the DL on how spicy it actually is. The extra hot was barely a tickle, but she added extra hot sauce on the side, so that was a nice addition. I would definitely eat there again.
