We always have a wonderful time at this hotel. The rooms are comfortable and always super clean. Ashley at the front desk is amazing! She welcomed and took care of us like family - so friendly, helpful, and just a fantastic person. Getting settled in was a breeze thanks to her especially for our friend who is recovering from surgery.

It's a nice, clean hotel, though relatively outdated. The sofa bed was very squeaky - so much so that it woke up our baby several times in the night; and the toaster worked on and off (seems there was something shorting out). Also, seems that parking was an issue during busy times which didn't seem to be the case in other hotels we've stayed at. There was a very nice complimentary coffee machine in the lobby with lots of options for coffee, and the outdoor hot tub was quite nice. All the staff were very friendly and professional. Would likely come back here again.

The first and probably still the best site for ski in ski out on the three mountains. Skiing here is always superb, fresh powder so often, staff are excellent and attentive, rooms have great facilities and the new taproom/restaurant Cahilty Creek on site is excellent. We've been coming here 10years and it just keeps getting better!

There are numerous signs posted around the hotel reminding guests about the quiet hours. This doesn't seem to stop people from talking loudly, partying with loud music, and getting away without any consequences from the hotel staff. From my room on the end of the hallway, I could hear at least three separate conversations simultaneously taking place, late into the night. I can't imagine what it would be like for guests in more centralized rooms. The hot tubs are small, and the room I was in was small too. Staff were friendly though, and the beds comfortable. Complementary wifi is available too.

The hotel staff are some of the best I've ever stayed with and being able to ski up to the hotel was very enjoyable. The hotel is a little dated but they keep the entire facility clean and well taken care of. My biggest complaint is the comfort of the beds throughout the hotel, the hotel is full of Murphy beds which offer ALOT to be desired. The beds are comfortable enough to sleep on after a night of heavy drinking at one of the great local spots. Overall I would recommend this hotel to others based on its location and the friendliness of the staff however most people are still looking for a comfortable nights sleep and that simply could not be provided in any of the rooms my friends and I booked for a week long trip together. Please update the beds before next season and we would be happy to stay with your hotel again!

Great small hotel. Close to everything with ski-in/ski-out, outdoor hot tub, nice restaurant, underground heated parking, ski storage, theater room and great service. Rooms are good size with a choice of two queen beds or a Murphy bed and kitchenette. Quiet, since it is tucked away from the main street in the resort. On the flip side, one outdoor hot tub is not enough and is often overcrowded, and the hot water tends to run low when everybody hits the showers after a day of skiing.

Stayed here for 2 nights in Jan 2020 and was impressed! Sun Peaks is a great resort and there are lots of accommodations to choose from, so I don't know how this compares to others. Booked a studio with queen (Murphy bed) and double fold out couch for 2 adults and 2 kids, space was just fine. Unit looks like the photos, so no surprises there. Great for ski-in and ski-out: bottom of beginner run (gentle giant) is right outside 1st floor exit and takes you to the chairs/ ticketing/ rentals/ etc. There's a secured ski storage area in the garage and along 1st floor hallway, if you have ski locks for the latter. Didn't try out the hot tubs (one inside and one outside) but others appeared to enjoy. Staff are exceedingly friendly and helpful. And you can meet Nancy Greene! Hoyle is in a great location, directly across parking lot from bluebird groceries (tiny and expensive, but convenient for what you need) and the stroll (shops) to the base. Be aware you need to find your own parking and it gets full fast. Fee is $15/night if you use hotel parking, or drive 2 mins up the street to P5 and it's free, but you still need a pass from the hotel for this. Seems strange to pay for parking at this type of location.

Room was dirty. Bath tub was disgusting. Floor was super dusty. Asked the front desk to have someone clean the room while we are not in the room during the day. They refused to do so. Instead they offered me a broom. Public health has no more restrictions for covid and they still said due to covid no room service. Taking advantage of Covid to reduce cost and increase profit at times when the hotel was absolutely packed. 1star is too many, I’d give it zero if it was possible.
