G	Georges Weber on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place but unmaintained. Room door cannot be locked so you have to sleep with your door unlocked. When you leave your room you can lock it from outside with a hanging lock which is just a joke. Toilet door could not be closed, lock and handle were damaged. Heater knob damaged, impossible to heat the room. The pictures on the internet are nice but the reality is quite different. The place is a puddle of mud, the green grass is long gone and several cabins in the pictures simply do not exist (anymore?). The owner is a bit cold and probably not born to manage a guest house.

A funny smell in the rooms and dead flies everywhere, live ones in the window. I understand that we were in the country and around animals, having been brought up around livestock so used to the fly issue, this place is really dated with the need of some tender loving care to repairs to the whole place Hoping that the owners do a lot of work and get this place back to a better situation than we found it
R	Ron Queen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst place I have ever stayed. No lights to help with check in . While the web site says they have food there is none ,in fact closet food is 30 minutes away . Roads are unplugged . Best to stay away.

The owner has nice stories to tell, the food (dinner and breakfast) can be highly recommended and yes they do have a wolf (see pictures). The lodge we slept in was pretty small for a family of four but at least the bedroom for us parents upstairs was quite cosy.
V	Vicky Rochefort on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really beautiful, idyllic place to stay! As long you don’t mind farm animals and chatty cows (we didn’t!), this place is perfect for a quiet getaway. Our cabin was adorable, everything worked well and everyone was friendly. We would definitely stay again!

Dead quiet and dark at night, which was such a nice contrast to the city. And then you wake up to cows and dogs in the morning! Perfect! Will definitely stay here again!

The property is huge and you can walk around in the forest land that the hosts also own. Upon arrival, we were offered a bigger sized cabin and it was great! The cabins are rustic and clean which was really what we were expecting. The full kitchen allowed us to cook all our meals in. We found the host to be very friendly and we absolutely adored the dogs and horses on the property. Great base to visit Wells Gray.

The cabin is neat with a beautyful view over the grasfields and up to the mountains in the back. We came back from an intens hike in the Well Gray Park and our host made an incredible steak for us. The guy is easy going, open and sincerly social. The homemade bread for breakfast is definitly tastefull! And off course Fernis is such an amazing dog.
