A	Angela Mercy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a relaxing sanctuary with a touch of western flare that will make any vacation feel like you're home! The hosts were kind and accommodating. Al showed us around the massive 100+ acre property. We saw gorgeous horses, a lovely little calf named Abby, hens that roamed around the property, and not to mention the breathtaking views of the Montana Valley at the top of the hill. We were given fresh free-roaming eggs every morning, which were a delightful treat. We had a kitchen in our cozy spacious cabin to prepare our meals. I enjoyed the eclectic movie collection, which was a nice touch after a long day of activities. We went on an adrenaline snowmobile ride through the property, and Al shared entertaining stories along the way. We went through a silver birch tree forest, then made our way up to the top of a hillside. This was probably the most fun I have had in a pandemic, and I cannot believe it was only a 5-hour drive from Vancouver. We ran out of wine on the second night, and conveniently, a general store was only a short 20-minute drive away. After a fun day in the snow, we got to relax in a steamy private hot tub. The sky was clear and the stars were luminous in the night sky. My only regret was staying two nights, and I wish we would have stayed a few more nights. This place is a hidden gem and the perfect getaway and to disconnect from the stress of city life. I cannot wait to visit this magical place in the spring!
S	Simon Xu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in the farm house for two nights that fits up to 6 people. It's cozy and has a great movie collection. The range comes with a gorgeous view and very heartwarming hosts. The range is not only surrounded by lots of lakes and trails for the outdoorsy and photographers, but also offers a lot of onset activities to keep you entertained. We made dill pickle cheese for the first time and the milk was fresh straight from the cow. It's the perfect place to get away from the city to relax and recharge. Looking forward to go back again. J	Joy H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at the Montana Hill Guest Ranch in August. It is a beautiful, quiet setting and we enjoyed our time there immensely! Our cabin was clean and comfortable with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. We learned how to milk a cow (takes a little practice), went riding, learned about the farm animals and took many relaxing walks. Al and Elaine were welcoming and knowledgeable hosts, and their focus on the comfort and safety of their guests and the animals was apparent from the moment we arrived. So glad we went and hope to go back again one day!

Elaine & Al are great hosts who were very friendly and accommodating. We had many great experiences feeding the calves and even helping to milk the cow. The hot tub on the deck to end the day, was very relaxing. Would definitely recommend to anyone who would like a nice get-away. Cheers Rhian & Andrew

And then driving up into the Montana Hill Ranch property, all of a sudden, life just got simple and quiet. We loved the back 40 ATV ing. We went on quite a few different routes, all very different and beautiful. You can tell Al loves being the guide to his guests. The scenery is breathtaking, especially when you are sitting in the hot tub with a nice glass of wine. The cabins are cozy, year round and we had great night sleeps. So much to take photos of and unwind in the most amazing country side. It’s obvious that Al and Elaine love what they have created and want to share this with all their guests. Hope to be back soon!
P	Phaedra Idzan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the moment we arrived, I fell in love with Montana Hill Guest Ranch. Elaine and Al, the owners/hosts were warm and welcoming and very helpful. The cows, horses and free ranging chickens wandered around the cabins 24/7. Grey Jays and impressive sized ravens flitted amongst the aspens. Sunsets and sunrises were spectacular. The cabins were well appointed with ample sized, fully stocked kitchenettes and we never ran out of hot water! I got to milk Lexi the cow and bottle feed the two orphan calves at the ranch. We've already booked our next vacation for next year!

Al and Elaine are consummate hosts; from cheese making with farm fresh milk, to letting our daughter feed the new calves, to the personality of the horses…and every cabin with its own hot tub! We spent a lot of time soaking while breathing in the fresh mountain air.
