Came in and grabbed a gift certificate for a Christmas gift and like the curious person I am…I opened the envelope to see what the certificate looked like. The cashier had marked some lines in the corner scribbled her signature wrote some numbers and dates in different colour pens, stamped the gift certificate between the part she rips off and the part she gives me. When I flipped it over the gift certificate said “this entitles you to a free manicure”. The card amount wasn’t equivalent to the cost of a manicure so I pointed this out as this could be miss leading to the person I intended to give it too. When I went back to see if I could get a plain certificate with just their business on it the lady said that was the only one they had. The lady then decided to scribble the part where it says “free manicure” with a green sharpie and have it back to me. I told her this was a Christmas gift. I told her I wanted a refund and that I would find a gift certificate somewhere else that looks nice and neat and not scribbled on with colours and words. I love this place but they need to update/upgrade their gift card program. Not presentable at all as a gift.

The whole nail just peels off. This is the second time I experienced this. Last time I went to them and complained, they fixed them. They made excuses for why they were just coming off but after they fixed them, they lasted. They no longer have good quality service, it’s the worst place to go to. Used to be my go to place to get my nails done. But now I will never go back to them. Don’t waste your money here!!

She didn’t talk much but started right away with doing my pedicure. She did a very good leg /foot massage and scrub. They use disposable liners in their spas and are constantly cleaning their pedicure supplies. She did a lovely job of painting my nails the color I chose. I will happily return when I need another pedicure.

It's $10 for a regular polish change. I don't think the other reviewer knows that she got shellac and not regular polish. $30 for that in Vancouver maybe, but definitely not out here. I paid $12 + a tip.
