He was open to our preference for our tour type (ocean or river) and adjusted based on our skill level. Great to tour an area with a local and be provided a good overview of the community and surounding area. Also a keen eye for wildlife! Would definitely recommend and tour again.

We kayaked on a beautiful sunny day; we were so happy being out in the water and being guided by someone who really knew the area. We are looking forward to renting with Mystic Beach Adventures again in the near future. Highly recommend :)

Really great communication from Randal (the owner) and we were able to book knowing that if the weather was against us the day of the tour we would be able to receive a full refund. The tour was amazing - we stayed along the shore as Randal told us about the sea life we saw and the area we were in. We got to go at the pace of the group, and even had a bit of a kayaking introduction before getting on the water.

The gear was in good shape and the location was stunning! A good mix of laughs and local stories, botanical knowledge of the ecosystem and wildlife we saw, and safety/kayaking skills. I felt safe and taken care of. This is a must do activity in sooke. I would highly recommend booking this tour with Randal!

My party of 4 were beginners and while it tested our skills, it was amazing! We quickly learned how to cross the tide, ride the boat waves and tackle the current. Randal was a great guide, very knowledgable and overall great guy. I highly recommend booking your kayaking excursion with Mystic Beach Adventures.

We ended up Kayaking on the sea and it was a great time. Randal taught us a lot about kayaking and what to do since my girlfriend and I didn't have much experience. He helped us build up the confidence to maneuver around and everything went very well. Randal was super friendly. We are glad we chose Mystic Beach Adventures. We would definitely recommend it!

Our group was pretty much all first-timers but he gave us the confidence to conquer the water. He shared his knowledge of the local plant life and wildlife. Lots of laughs and no one fell in the water. What an adrenaline rush. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting. Thank you!!! ?
