Muse Life Drawing - Saskatoon
Last year, one of my friends was raving about her experience being sketched in the nude. This concept intrigued me, so I inquired about her experience, and was led to Nathen and his real-life drawings group.
Expecting my third child, I was looking for something totally different to capture my body, and at 38 weeks jumped at the opportunity to work with Nathen. I was a little nervous and not quite sure what to expect. However, Nathen made me feel very comfortable, safe, and in control. The entire experience was extremely positive, and the drawings produced were stunning. My only regret was not contacting him sooner to capture my growing belly throughout the pregnancy. Since delivering, I have been back for a follow-up sketch.
This time I decided to also get a vulva portrait done. Again, Nathen made me feel comfortable, safe, and in control. The images produced from this session were lovely and a nice complement to my previous session. This experience has allowed me to document and appreciate my changing body, and I’ve come out of this feeling more confident.
