★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice for putting in kayak or paddle board. The water is relatively shallow and it is sandy. There are adequate picnic tables and change facilities. The swimming space itself is relatively small. Nice modern playground nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BEAUTIFUL!! Lots of wildlife in the park. Camping sites are all fairly spaced out and private. The main beach is perfect for spending the day swimming and playing. The waterfront is sandy with little to no weeds. Would recommend taking a canoe out on Loon Lake. Lots of trails to explore. The only complaint I had was that all the campsites were shady due to tall trees. We were looking forward to the sunshine, but it kept us nice and cool. We stayed in Ash Hill campgrounds which was a perfect location. It was a short walk to the store and a quick jaunt to the beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really beautiful provincial park. Perhaps even the first provincial park in which I have encountered water snakes. They're not venomous ?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most of the trailer sites have a slope. Lots of tree roots sticking out of the ground. Very friendly park staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We camped here for 2 nights, nice campground. Well kept sites, although leaking privacy for the most part. Prices are very reasonable for extras, like wood ice... Had a blast, lots to see and do around the area. Lots and lots of millipedes and wood frogs around the site, kids we're always occupied.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely, clean Provincial Park. Some sites close to the park / beach are great for families. The park is fairly spread out so be prepared to walk/bike to some locations. Nice sites, most seem to be semi-private. Well maintained sites and trails and excellent spot for canoeing and kayaking.
