About Mr.Sub

In 1968, two friends came up with a delicious idea: sell quality food, serve it fast, make it fresh…and above all, give customers value for their money.They took their idea of making fresh sandwiches and opened the first Mr.Submarine in Toronto at 130 Yorkville Avenue in 1968. The response was overwhelming and just five months later the two founders opened a second Mr.Submarine.

In 1972, MR.SUB sold its first franchise and that first franchisee is still with MR.SUB to this day.

In 1990 Mr.Submarine officially became MR.SUB and in 2011 it was proudly purchased by the MTY Food Group Inc. As of 2017, MR.SUB has over 260 locations across Canada as well as internationally. In 2018 we began serving RWA meats in our most popular subs, reconfirming our commitment to providing honest food that you can feel good about feeding your family. After five decades, we’re proud to say we’ve been your home away from home, a place for late night snacks, post-game hangouts, and so much more. You’ve put your trust in us, and we’ve made it our mission to keep earning it. Staff did not follow instructions on recent skip the dishes order.. its not hard... c'mon. i ordered a GRILLED sub and it was not grilled. Also veggies were put on super sloppily and half of them were under and over the wrapped sub which made it extremely soggy and gross. In the garbage it went.

She asks white or whole wheat - white - footlong She says we only have 6" Wait for it How many 6" in a 12"? Deer in the headlights. Nevermind, I'll have it on bread Sub was good. Thanks for the chuckle

c	corey mcintyre on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I come here often as I am a fan of Mr. Sub. I do find it a little frustrating however, that on occasion you WILL find hair in your food due to the fact that not a single employee wears a hair net...ever ?. One of those rules I'd assume would be taken seriously.

Both times was on a weekend and the staff made me feel like I was interrupting them. Not rude, but definitely not happy I had come in. Both times were on a weekend, so maybe the weekday staff is better. No complaints on the cleanliness or the food.

One was also very soft spoken and never leaned forward to restate what she was asking, I eventually just gave up and said do whatever. Sandwich was good though very messy, shredded lettuce fell out everywhere and the deli meat wasn’t folded to fit inside the bun. Cream of mushroom soup was absolutely terrible. Completely flavorless, and when I took leftovers to try and spruce up later it had somehow gone completely watery. There couldn’t have been cream in it.
D	Dave Morrison on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing, bread was old meat was chewy and started to go hard. I got a steak and cheese with dub meatcould not eat it. Ended up in the trash. NASTY FOOD EVER. WILL NEVER RETURN.
