About Mr.Sub
In 1968, two friends came up with a delicious idea: sell quality food, serve it fast, make it fresh…and above all, give customers value for their money.They took their idea of making fresh sandwiches and opened the first Mr.Submarine in Toronto at 130 Yorkville Avenue in 1968. The response was overwhelming and just five months later the two founders opened a second Mr.Submarine.
In 1972, MR.SUB sold its first franchise and that first franchisee is still with MR.SUB to this day.
In 1990 Mr.Submarine officially became MR.SUB and in 2011 it was proudly purchased by the MTY Food Group Inc. As of 2017, MR.SUB has over 260 locations across Canada as well as internationally. In 2018 we began serving RWA meats in our most popular subs, reconfirming our commitment to providing honest food that you can feel good about feeding your family. After five decades, we’re proud to say we’ve been your home away from home, a place for late night snacks, post-game hangouts, and so much more. You’ve put your trust in us, and we’ve made it our mission to keep earning it. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for a breakfast wrap or sammich. Ordered an egg & cheese, and one steak and egg. The woman made them, gave husband the steak one. Said this is your steak. Sat down, took a bite. He took a bite. I had the steak on my egg and cheese. We switched. But sandwich was all bread, bread fell apart. Left, still hungry. Lol.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During the day the ladies are really nice. Once in awhile I'll go in the evening and the guy that works there seems to be angry that he does his job. He does the bare minimum. Mumbles and throws the sandwiches on the counter.
Very unwelcoming feel from him but 8am-3pm it's great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I walked into Subway, the young man working there needs to have more training on how to make the subs .We found that when you cut the bread in equal halfs, the bread on the top part doesn't break apart so much ,but he didn't ,we've been getting our subs there and we've had no problems before . When I told him to grill the subs he didn't believe me that they would work so he did put mine on first he didn't spray down or cleaned off the grill
so when it was time to take it off it came off in pieces then he took along time to make me another one I finally left after 6:00 So when we got home eat our subs we found out the mess unbearable to eat the papers and the subs where all apart, the taste was not there like we had before I'm sorry to say that we had to toss them out we're at the point where are thinking about not coming back and I've been in retail for 24 years so I know about customer service please fix this problem

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Usually I don't mind this place but last time I went the young man working used a dirty knife, didn't clean the counter, the cheese had a stain on it, the food was almost empty and not fresh looking, the pineapples almost looked brown and dry. I was so disgusted I'm surprised I even went through with them. Never going back again. Will go out of my way to go to Subway next time.
