Terrible customer service. No one there cares. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Extremely poor customer service. I bought a product that I have never used before, and was nervous because I did not know how to use it. She said she would tell me how to use it after i purchased it, and her instructions were weak and did not suffice. I had not even left the store yet and she said that she was not able to give me a refund as this is the policy. I asked her if I can speak to the manager, and she called the manager on her cell phone. Not knowing that I can understand cantonese, she started to bad-mouth me to her manager. I will never shop here again.

I don't recommend to buy anything at "MQ cosmetics " to anyone at all. I bought three bottles of hair color at this store at different times. The first bottles was working fine. The second bottle couldn't pump out one color which was supposed two colors coming out at the same time. It means this bottle was defected. One day I passed by the store and went in just to tell the girl that the product I bought was not working. I didn't intend to do anything because I knew I through away the receipt. The girl said :"next time bring it back and show me. I will exchange another one for you ." and asked me don't worry about buying products here. I heard what she said then I bought another bottle again. However, when I opened and tried to pump this third bottle, only the first two pumps came out with two colors. From the third pump and four pumps with only one color.... It means this bottle was also defected too. It was $17-$20/bottle. Then I took the bottle, bag, and receipt back to the store and told the people ( there were two girls and one guy in the store at that time). They didn't even look at anything I showed them and said:" I am using this product too. It is one color." I said it is impossible one color because the first two pumps were two color then became one color. My friend that went there with me saw the girl was lying to me and took the hair color and showed the instructions to the girls that there are two holes and two colors. Then the girl realized that my friend knows the instructions with Japanese words and she couldn't lying anymore. Then she pointed to a written paper on the table and said "No exchange or refund! " I understand last time another girl told me that if the product is defected, I can take it back for exchange. Then I asked her to talk to that girl whom I was talking to, she said that girl went back to China. Then my friend was upset that this store is not honest and told these girls that we understand if a product is in working condition. We wouldn't have come to exchange. The store policy (no exchange, no refund )should only applies to good working products not defected products. They saw my friend talked a lot, then the guy called the security to let us leave. The security said we can complaint them at other places if we were not happy. I showed the security that the bottle was heavy and new, but defected. It was a terrible experience. I still have the defected hair color. I can take pictures or record it while I am pumping out the color to prove that I am telling the truth if required. I suggest when people see a sign at the store " no exchange or refund " even defected products, don't buy and find another store with respect to consumers. These kind of stores must know many people would return the defected products.
