About MPH METAL RECYCLING LTD
Michael Hleck grew up on a family-owned farm in the area of Quill Lake, Saskatchewan. His father was a farmer, musician, car collector and small scrap metal recycler. Michael started working on a local farm, and at 17 years old started working in Northern Manitoba on the Diamond drills, eventually moving to the seismic rigs in Saskatchewan, which led him to the Alberta drilling rig industry for a couple years. To finish his education, he enrolled in school in Regina while alternating back and forth on the drilling rigs until he graduated. After acquiring some farming equipment, he spent the next four years farming while working in Alberta, and bought the family farm in this time period. Totaling eighteen years of experience in the Canadian drilling industry, as well as four years of experience over seas, he returned home to raise his family. Like his father, he started working in the scrap metal recycling business.
