★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This park was awful. It guided me to a 15 and not a 30 Amp site and then aided a serious dispute between myself and a friend by hiding her at a friend of theirs RV who ended up tossing my friend out on the street anyways. I wouldn't stay at this overpriced dump again if they paid me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gord made our stay! He showed the kids peacocks, including a tiny 2 day old baby, made sure we had wood for the communal fire pit, and endured the kids endless questions about all the work he was doing around the site.(thank you Gord!)
Bathrooms were tidy, the sites were clean, the other residents were friendly. I wished we had our own fire pit, but when Gord explained why not every site had one we understood. The mini golf is currently shut down for repairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were lucky to get a campground with the Calgary stampede in town. We had 2 tents and ended up at a site near the playground. Big mistake! Kids were playing on the playground until like 10:30 PM. They were super loud. The bathrooms are really old, so was the shower. It was a decent campground without bells and whistles. It’s close enough to Calgary.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner was extremely rude and drove up to our site, intoxicated, and just stared at our dogs leash, took him 5 minutes of staring for him to state that he had a problem with the way it was attached to the tree. You’re not allowed to bring your own firewood, but we couldn’t get ahold of anyone there to get firewood. Theres 15 amp at the sites… so good luck trying to use the microwave without blowing the breaker every 5 seconds. Then we took our kids to the run down park around noon and there was a man yelling at us because he thought we were staring at his trailer. And this is a guy that shouldn’t have been so close to a park, considering he was clearly under the influence of something. Honestly the absolute worst place I’ve ever been camping.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff. Okay park with nice sites. Three stars for the fact that wifi was out and unstable at best (important to us at the time) and need to tighten their attention to litter and garbage area. We did stay 3 days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mountain View Farm Campground is not a destination campground. However, with its location adjacent to Highway #1, just east of Calgary, it is very good as an overnight travel stop or a location for use while needing to be in Calgary and area.
The sites are gravel, level and well laid out. The Park has numerous long pull thrus.
The 50-Amp power worked well, the sewer connection was good and there was adequate water pressure.
The free Wi-Fi proved to be adequate for emails and similar.
