★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another Heaven on Earth place in Alberta! Loved it so much I continplated moving in Sundre so I could go every weekend! Beautiful views, beautiful people and the wild horses! Wow! We will definately be heading back there this year before the snow files!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just spent 3 nights at Mountain-Aire in the motel. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The staff are wonderful. They were very helpful, and informative. They allowed us a late check out as we had to get a ride into Sundre to repair a flat tire before we could leave.
Our friends had a campsite right along the Red Deer River - beautiful!
The property is under new management and is undergoing renovations. I look forward to returning and seeing the improvements.
Mountain-Aire is surrounded by beautiful scenery and with the river flowing by, we found it very peaceful.
We enjoyed our stay at Mountain-Aire and look forward to staying there again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spotlessly clean! We stumbled upon this hidden gem after being on the road traveling for a day, getting a flash tire down a remote dirt road and licking my keys in the Jeep at the same time.
Covered in dust,dirt ,sweat and bug bites we came here.
We were going to set up a tent but then ???? we found out they rented cabins/rooms.
They were the absolute sweetest nicest couple we've met in along long time. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and feel extremely welcome.
The lady was so sweet she even offered to make me coffee in the morning in her office because the water wasn't potable.
They let us have a late check-out.
The room/cabin was absolutely amazing!!
It was soo spotlessly clean and everything was brand spanking new( we accidentally set off the smoke detector using the 1burner element in the room because it had never been used before) .
It came with a mini fridge, microwave, sink, 1 burner and a beautiful electric fireplace.
The beds were beautiful and soo comfy I really had to force myself to get out of it in the morning ( I would've stayed an extra night just to sleep all snuggled up in the bed).
This place is phenomenal!!!
A must visit must see place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely beautiful! We spent several weekends out here with family at their seasonal sites early in the camping year, and could no longer stand just being visitors. Last week we moved into our very own seasonal spot, and now that I am home from our first weekend at our site, I am already counting down the days until we can return this weekend.
The new owners care a great deal about this place and it shows - they, and all the staff, are friendly, helpful & incredibly easy to deal with. The campground itself is beautiful, sitting on the river, some sites are right of the water with amazing views, others sit back and are well treed and super private - there is something for everyone. The ability to quad in & out is certainly an added bonus, allows us to take advantage of crown land right next door, or we can just put our chairs in the water and sit in the sun and relax.
It's an easy drive in from Calgary, but just far enough you feel you got away from it all - a quick stop in Sundre for groceries and a quick hello to Roy or Sheralyn at the office for Fire Wood and you are set! So glad we decided to become seasonal residents here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely beautiful campground, our buddy just picked a spot out there for the year, probably have the best site! Picturesque views, lots of activities nearby, and it looks like they are updating and building some cabins! Even with the detours it was still very easy to find and there's a few options of how to get in or out! We are very much looking forward to spending more time out here this summer!
