K	Kim Moyles on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had purposely booked this place to spend time in the outdoors with my dog...wthat was diagnosed with cancer. The small bunkie cabin would have been perfect. But I arrived after a 3hr drive to be told they had a no pet policy. I thought this was only for the lodge. I was refused to stay and had to find somewhere else to sleep that night. Very disappointed in the reception by the owner
S	Steven Kirkwood on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed our time here tremendously. Stayed in one of their new cabins last autumn 2018 as we toured Algonquin Park during the days, just 30 minutes drive away. The cabin was rustic, but clean, safe and very private out under the trees. Shower house was great and our private out-house was just a few steps away from the cabin. Host was very courteous, helped guide us in from the highway, provided a heater an no charge. Breakfast was simple fare, but adequate in the small comfortable lodge. They've worked hard to improve the facilities. Beautiful setting, we would definitely stay again, and can strongly recommend.
M	Mahdokht Ezati on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cabins are great place for couples! Our cabin was so clean and lovely! Each cabin has its own barbecue and fire-wood place. The location is so quiet and 40-minutes away from Algonquin park. Before our travel, the owner emailed us very detailed information about the facilities of the cabins, exact location and what we should bring to better accommodate there.
K	K K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got charged $100 extra for no reason at all, called the lodge to resolve the issue and they said that they bought the lodge 2 months ago and the prices went up since when we booked it. We booked this lodge because it was cheap and looked nice. As we walked in and looked around there was nothing even close to the lodge, it was in the middle of no where. We asked the owners what there is to do around the area and they told us that there is a lake 30 minutes away but they don’t know about anything else nearby. We just went to the lake and passed time. When it was time to sleep the blankets and bedsheets already looked used, there was long hair all over them. We shook off the bed and tried to go to sleep. The beds were extremely itchy, not a single person in the cabin got any sleep at all, don’t think that they change the bedsheets or wash the blankets. Overall terrible 2 nights spent at this poor excuse of a lodge and highly suggest you stay away from these scammers if you want to be able to sleep and have fun. The new owners do not know how to run a business or care about their customers.
L	Lexus Travels on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great stay here. The cabins are cozy and clean. The staff are welcoming and accommodating. Great place to stay to relax or explore the area. Lots to do on site and off site.
E	Ed Christou on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's under new management place was dirty and had Mouse dropping's Through out the place We asked if there was a barbecue and the owners said yes but did not tell us there is a $20 fee for the propane tank We ate in the restaurant one night limited menu craft macaroni and 3 beers were $70. Not good Experience
D	Dele Faleyimu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great stay! The unit that we had was very clean well organized, and very comfortable. The owners were very helpful when we were doing things in our unit and making use of the amenities. Being city guys, we weren’t able to get the fire started, but they helped us out! The only thing we could complain about was that the restaurant was closed and that we didn’t have a proper kettle. The restaurant was closed due to Covid, so can’t really complain about that. Plus they give us more of an excuse to explore the area which was also quite fun!
