We bought a rifton activity chair for our son and Jen the sales rep helped us each step of the way. She let us know what features we would need and not need. She brought in a sample chair to the home so my son could try it out. I am very happy with the service at Motioncares.

Beware: The staff is knowledgeable and friendly at Motion Cares but the walkers and rollators they sell don’t come with any kind of meaningful warranty. We purchased one from them in Jan 2020 ($325) just before the lockdown for my mother to use in memory care. Sixteen months later we asked Motion Cares for some maintenance on her walker and were informed the cost would almost eclipse the replacement cost of new walker. We then purchased a better model ($400) from them July 23rd 2021. Now after 9 months of indoor use, the bearings in one rear wheel are shot. Motion Cares says …”sorry no warranty for that but we can charge you $98 to diagnose your problem and the replacement wheel is $50.” Worth noting that both walkers were used exclusively inside of a 12 suite memory care unit so there is no excuse for them to breakdown like this. In hindsight we should never have rewarded Motion Cares with the purchase of a 2nd walker so I take some responsibility for getting taken twice by the same store. Please beware when dealing with this company or other medical equipment supply companies. They are profit seekers first and foremost. Ask up front about warranties, repairs etc because what you see is not what you get. To say the least I’m very disappointed that childrens’ bicycles have better warranties than geriatric medical equipment such as rollators and walkers. Elderly people on fixed incomes deserve better.

Fantastic service from Aaron McKenzie and Dave Vaillancourt in providing pricing quotes on mobility equipment for my disabled daughter. Very prompt and courteous communications at all times. We will be using MotionCares for our upcoming powerchair purchase next month. And "hats off" to Avril London for her great service as well right from the start. Mike

Thank you to all, especially Avery, for all your help. We were on a vacation and needed a wheelchair. The company delivered and picked up the wheelchair at the hotel we were staying-no extra charge. Other companies we called just wouldn’t help us out. I am so happy we found Motion b/c it made our vacation much more enjoyable.

Great product (Motion Access Flow X curved stairlift) and service team at Motion I was looking for a starlift in mid Nov-2021 and found Motion in my neighborhood by googling. I visited the Motion’s store in Markham and I was introduced to David Vaillancourt (Consultant – York, Hamilton and Mississauga). Dave came over to our place to check the stairs and gave us a quote of the Access Flow X curved stairlift. The quote was reasonable compared to other curved stairlifts in the market. We then booked an appointment to do the measurement of the stairs. Dave spent about two hours to do the measurement and took pictures of the stairs. He was knowledgeable and answered all our. He then sent the mapping to the engineer in Netherlands to do the drawings. We received the digital drawing within a week and placed the order. The stairlift (made in Netherlands) was supposed to arrive at the end of Dec-2021 but it was delayed due to the Omicrom variant. On Feb 10, 2022, Sandy Levy (Consultant/Technician, Mississauga) and two technicians (Chan, and Patrik) arrived on time @ 9am to install the Access Flow X curved stairlift. The team of three were fully vaccinated and wore masks throughout the installation process. They were efficient and installed the stairlift in 3.5 hours. They were very thorough in testing the stairlift to make sure it works well. Sandy asked me to test the stairlift and explained the key features and the warranty (five year parts and one year labour). We were very pleased with the installation process. Dave Vaillancourt also dropped by in the afternoon of Feb 10 to make sure we were happy with the stairlift. We have been using the Access Flow X curved stairlift during the past few days. It is a user-friendly product for seniors. We are very happy with the stairlift and the services of the team (Dave, Sandy, Chan, Patrik) at Motion.

My experience with the company was top notch. The sales consultant Dwayne was knowledgeable and very helpful setting me up with a power chair. Following the delivery, he has been in contact with me to ensure everything is calibrated the way I need. Couldn't be happier with their level of service and commitment - Thanks Dwayne :)
