About Moose & Squirrel Medical Clinic
Physicians at the Moose & Squirrel Medical Clinic provide a full scope family medicine practice, including prenatal care, newborn, pediatric and adolescent care; men’s health; women’s health; geriatric and palliative care. We also perform minor surgical procedures and offer comprehensive medical care for patients with complex or chronic diseases. We network with our specialist colleagues throughout Alberta to coordinate care for our patients that cannot be offered in Sundre. We have a passion for preventative health, and ensure that our patients receive screening and testing according to the most up to date medical recommendations.
Being rural family physicians means that we have medical responsibilities in addition to our work in the clinic. We are on call to the Emergency Department at the Sundre Hospital from time to time; and we provide bedside care for our clinic’s patients who are admitted to the Sundre Hospital.
Due to these additional responsibilities, your physician may be called away from the clinic in the middle of the day to care for someone who requires urgent attention at the hospital, and so there may be times when unfortunately your appointment may be delayed or you will have to reschedule an appointment due to unforeseeable circumstances. We hope to keep these disruptions to a minimum, but they will occur from time to time. It is part of the nature of rural medical practice, and though this may disrupt your appointment one day, we appreciate your understanding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tremendously disappointed. My appointment was very rushed(I was there 10mins early), like the doctor didn't even what to help me at all or care about my actual well-being. I did not receive the proper care or help for my issue at all. Instead they just gave me useless pills that didn't help at all. It already took me a lot of courage to finally make an appointment for my issue in the first place and they acted like it was nothing and I just wanted to cry, I felt terrible; like I was wasting their time even though I paid for their time.
So I made an appointment with another clinic in Olds and received way better treatment. They actually took their time to talk to me and figure out options. Will not be going back to moose and squirrel clinic after that.

They have been so kind already, took their time to explain so much to me and I feel really confident in the care my baby and I will recieve moving forward.
The doctors, nurses and staff were patient and knowledgeable. I never felt rushed or unheard.
