★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first night we were a bit let down as it appeared that a forest fire went through a few years ago and there are very few trees. Also there is very limited access to the lake especially from A loop. Though over the next few days it grew on us. Even though there are few trees the lots are very big and even on a full long weekend it did not seem crowded. The beach has very nice fine sand including in the water. The trails could be better marked as some of them you almost need to go through others sites to either enter or exit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this campground. Spacious lots. The trees this year were unfortunately bare and damaged and there was not much there. But the beaches and sand make up for that. Water was clean when we went. A nice break from the hot sun
