Great place to visit for camping and hiking. Resort operators provide firewood, drinking water, and washrooms for mountaintop campers. Best time to visit is late summer to early fall. Wake up early and go see the sunrise from Round Top. Try to visit late summer or early fall just after the summer high season.

I usually hit up Bromont but wanted to try something different. It's less busy than bromont (was a Thursday day) and the vibe is definitely different. Less frills, the snow isn't as nice in my opinion and not as well groomed but it offers something different which I can appreciate. The chalets aren't big but do the trick. The employees were nice, every single person we encountered was nice, including just people skiing and snowboarding, the lady working the family zone chairlift was super joyful and nice to everyone coming on the lift, the parks aren't rails and jibs but nice jumps. The sous bois are great, some wide ones which as a snowboarder I can finally go in and not be afraid to hit a tree. I really enjoyed the trails here. Everything felt covid safe and compliant. Not all chairlifts were running but you can get to all the trails with the ones opened and the line ups were fast. The tiny 2 person chairlifts felt like a blast from the past, I haven't seen those in a while. There is an outdoor canteen with covid and the poutine was reasonably priced and filling and delicious! UPDATE CAREFUL OF THE CHAIRLIFT V (left of map) it doesn't slow down but also the drop at the top is STEEP, I wasn't at the edge of the seat enough because of this significant steep drop (why isn't anyone putting more snow to manage the incline?? That's absolutely within the control of employees and should be managed) and I ended up falling and dropping hard on my shoulder, thankfully nothing was dislocated but my neck and back definitely needs some attention from my chiropractor, lots of things cracked unpleasantly. I wrote Sutton weeks ago, no reply, no F*cks given. Don't think I'll go back after that. Also don't think they have a lot of any artificial snow blowers so if hasn't snowed recently, trails will be awful and full of ice patches, worse for boarders than skiers. First time I went last year, fresh powder was great, this year it was so insanely icy it wasn't fun and was rather dangerous and I'm comparing that to many other hills like bromont, Morin heights, Orford.

My new favorite resort in Quebec! Great trails for Intermediate to Advanced skiers along with no lift lines during the week! Lots of glades and tree skiing. Loved the low key setting and old fashioned chalets. Happy to see unlike other resorts that they did not modernize and become like office buildings but feel cozy and hospitable. Great friendly locals and staff.

Mont Sutton is a wonderful Mountain with a rustic atmosphere. If you are looking for a luxury chalet experience Sutton is not the place to go. If you're looking to get out and enjoy the beautiful Quebec wilderness with incredible Glades and runs surrounded by immense natural beauty Sutton provides all of that and more. One note, grooming at Sutton is very menial and most of the runs don't have snow makers.

Fantastic ski resort. It's big, and you don't get bored. Only thing is that the ski slopes are kind of not rated properly. Some blues feel like greens and vice versa. Also, the mountain has a ton of blacks and blues so it's more for intermediate skiers and above.

Great and not super busy! We went at the end of March for some spring skiing and had a day of mud and rain and then a day of fresh powder that quickly turned to slush but it was wonderful! The hill has tons of potential and it’s decently spread out so you can easily avoid other people. The lifts are a little old but all the staff are friendly and they even encouraged us to do another run 3 minutes before the lift closed. There is parking about halfway up the mountain which is great if you don’t want to start at the base. There’s also a nice chalet with a great little 2nd floor patio. The lift tickets and rentals were pretty reasonable especially when compared to tremblant or other more mainstream resorts. Great spot!

Very nice mountain with great views, I really enjoyed my time skiing there! I find that some of the runs are slightly more narrow than in other places, with more trees, which feels more "natur-ey". Lots of great skiing/snowboarding trails, but if it's your first time skiing, I would suggest going to a different hill (there aren't that many green trails!) Definitely plan to get there ahead of time (lack of parking and wait time to get your ticket!)

Great hill for skiing or snowboarding. The runs are fairly narrow and in the trees so it feels like your are in the woods. Also a great part of the hill is the lines are not very long to get onto the lift. Especially the side lifts that aren’t at the mail entrance. Worth the trip and very affordable.
