A	Ana Cruz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend staying in one of these adorable cabins! Stayed in the smallest cabin (bachelor) twice now and plan to return. The cabins are all newly updated (new bathrooms and kitchens), very clean, equipped with the basics you need (except bed linens and towels - bring those!) And your own private bbq. Lots to do on the grounds - kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing etc. No additional cost to use any of the amenities. Lake is clean, quiet and feels very private. There are some amazing hiking trails nearby. This is not an overly frequented area, so expect very few people on the trails. If you're looking for a low key place to escape the city - don't look any further. The drive from Toronto is only about 2.5 hours and it is well worth it. Stay a few nights to really relax and take in all the surrounding beauty. Enjoy!!
A	Ashlemya on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the smallest place I've ever seen. This says for 3 people but was really built for 1. The washroom is so small that you can only step in and rotate around you can't take a step to the left or right. There is also NO mirror in bathroom. The cabin was not stocked with toilet paper, paper towel, cups or utensils. There was also zero dresser or table to rest items on when in the rooms which is super inconvenient when you're staying for a week. Lastly and WORST of all, the place was infested with ants. There were ants in every cupboard possible. The only plus was that there was paddleboards and canoes available.
s	shawkat milton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like this place. Nice and calm. Host Bill is also good behaviour with clients. If they Only fix few things then it should be get 5 star. I have been in cottage no 5 on 5th November, 2021. Wash room was so tidy. Cant seat properly on commode. Wash bazin use so tuff, because its literally no space for standing. One bed dosent have base hiter. Other then its good place for family and friends.
M	Mel Brooks on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented # 5 through airbnb for a long weekend. Our cabin was small, perfect for a single couple or two couples (if they want to crash on the futon). I liked the kitchen set up and was impressed with the AC/wifi/TV set up as this is fantastic for days where the weather is iffy. Bathroom is small but has all the essentials you would need and overall the cabin was clean, bug free, and warm. Unfortunately though, the cabins are close together and there is no obvious boundary lines, where our cabin was on the end of the property, we had other renters checking out our plot wondering if "this was it". We had another uncomfortable experience where we had another renter come onto our plot with a cart and a flashlight in the middle of the night and steal ALL of the firewood we had brought for our stay (this was the first night). Not only did they take our bagged firewood under our table, but even the firewood we put in our firepit! We contacted our host Bill, letting him know of the theft and to check the cameras on the property and he responded with, "oh shoot". Not sure what I was expecting, but figured he would respond more professionally and dealt with the situation by banning the group or reviewing them on airbnb. Theft is theft and it put a damper on our trip for sure. Despite this, the site was gorgeous and we did have a good time by traveling to the local trails and doing some exploration in the small local town.
T	Talha khan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed cottage lights were not working parking area dont have any light out side of the cottage only one bulb and its so dark my kids and family scared to come out after dark if you use hot water for 3 to 4 minutes suddenly hot water gone dock no light walking area for the cottage no light paddle boat was broken very very disappointed and after this my review i am sure they will say i was not in there guest list i was there on saturday but i hope owner will put more focus to mai tain the area. Please dont take rude or mean but it was very disappointed

c	chris gatt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently stayed at this cottage as a group of 9 people and these are my honest opinions on the property: The Good: 1.) The property is easy to find, with adequate parking. There are many activities to take part in, with many different water sport availabilities. 2.) The property was clean when we came in, and it definitely felt that it had been sanitized prior to our stay. 3.) The great room area is very good for large groups to socialize and enjoy. The Bad: 1.) The property is right off the road, so there is plenty of road noise. 2.) There are 4 other cottages on the property and the main one we stayed in, although having signs everywhere denoting it being private, were constantly having people trying to enter as it comes off as an administration building. 3.) The rooms are very very tight. The mattresses also feel old, it could very well have just been the one we used, but the general consensus was that they felt old and weren't comfortable at all. 4.) Some of the bedrooms do not have windows. We lucked out and had a fan in ours, but the others who didn't found it to be very hot, and it wasn't even the peak of summer, so I can only imagine how bad that would have been. 5.) The kitchen was bare. No utensils, no garbage bags. Our understanding from the Airbnb was that there would be the basics but there wasn't even that. Overall it was a decent cottage, but I don't think it would be one that I, or my group of friends, would look into booking in the future.
