A	Ari beri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok place. It’s a very small space, and the seating is a nightmare. They don’t take reservations but want you to get on a waiting list that’s unpredictable. Wouldn’t be so bad if you could maybe walk around while you wait, but the location sucks. The food is very good, I would absolutely eat it again, but honestly, I don’t think it’s worth the hassle of trying to even get in. I would have given it a higher rating if it wasn’t for the staff. A certain staff member who I assume is a manager of sorts was quite rude to my friend and I, and it left a pretty bad taste in my mouth. Really left a damper on our whole experience. Nice to try once, not sure if i’d go again.
M	Mantasha Azam on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A solid brunch place where you can’t go wrong. One thing that stands out is definitely their french toast make sure you don’t miss it. I ordered the reverse French toast which was 9/10 and the brioche just melts in your mouth while the chocolate to bread ratio stays undefeated. The salmon eggs benny was good but the waffle it was served on was a little cold and hard which wasn’t the best 7/10. However, the potatoes were well seasoned and the hot sauce carried. Portions were adequate but still a little overpriced compared to other places. Would still come back for that French toast any time :)
J	Jordan Lee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some of the most unique breakfast options around. We had the brisket poutine, pancake tacos and the Elvis french toast. Everything was incredible. So many flavors that work perfectly together. I will always visit Monki.
C	Cara Loschuk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their original location is pretty tiny but they make it work. There is another larger location in Inglewood. I have to say my experience from beginning to end was extremely satisfying. The service was awesome, and the food was delicious. The fondue is a must try!

The hashbrowns were a mix of potatoes and sweet potatoes (informed by the server). There are two gender neutral washrooms but the 10 Ave location does not seem to be wheelchair accessible (3 steps to the door). There is limited indoor seating so the restaurant starts having a wait list around 9-9:30am (I went on a Sunday).

It felt a tad heavy to me, although I did find it interesting that they had yam wedges mixed in with the potato ones. Might need to try their dessert options next time.

Lady friend had the waffles and presentation was on point. The waffles themselves were not great, soft and a bit dense. Drink menu is lacking for anything espresso, still a great place for a date or small group. Not too kid friendly inside as it's tight seating. Will need to come back and try the French toast!
