Mona Lisa Day Spa - Winnipeg

So I have sat and stewed on this all day long and have decided nope I'm gonna share it. I received a gift certificate to get a full body 2 hr massage. I get there and the lady says we do a full body scrub are you sure you want that cause you would be ashamed me rubbing your whole body. She says we can do facial instead. So I said fine a facial. So she starts then says oh I have to charge you extra for the facial. So I'm like ok whatever. So during the facial massage she says you have such baby lips but you sure don't have a baby body. Well I didn't know what to say so I held my tongue. Then she is on and on about weight and says how much do you weigh and have you ever tried to lose weight. I just looked at her dumbfounded and I said well I weigh more than you do. She finishes my face and I said I really need to go to washroom and she hands me a robe and its a small. Well here I stand in all my glory got to pee badly and I put my arms into this robe and it didn't even cover my shoulders much less my size DD knockers. She didn't offer a towel for me to cover myself so off I trot down the hall to the bathroom. I come back and she says will you be able to turn over and lay down and I'd about had enough and turned over and said yep my fat smashes just fine...lol. So for the whole 2 hour massage she talked about my weight. I have never been so humiliated and disgusted in my life. Talk about discrimination. If you are a business and don't encourage plus size clients then say that right out rather than shaming them once there. The massage was good don't get me wrong. But I'm not a size small woman and have never been, I have curves and cushion and FEELINGS. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone EVER. I couldn't wait for the massage to be done so I could leave. ?????? Shame on you Mona Lisa on Main.

Thanks to all of the beautiful ladies at Mona Lisa Nails and Spa for the fabulous service today! My manicure and pedicure look amazing as always. My spouse had his pedicure too and there is no where else he would ever go for his pedicures! I have been going to see Ritu, Jas, and Lucky since Ritu opened the Spa! Went there for a hot stone massage. It was great, the woman really new what she was doing. They do not offer theraputic massages but the relaxation one I had was great. They have deals on Groupon so check before going!

Facial, massage and pedicure were amazing. Very caring and attentive staff. Took their time and not rushed. No massaging chairs or foot tubs but the care and service was great and surpassed those negatives.

This is the best place for me to get relaxed after a long tired day. It’s like the only place after my home where I can relax without any disturbance. This place is like a heaven for me. The staff is always so welcoming. The main thing is that one can get all the services done under one roof only(mani, pedi, facial, massage). Now they have special deal for hot stone massage and I can’t wait to book appointment again. I also recommend my all friends to go this place and get a spa.

I usually never write reviews but this place was absolutely amazing. From the moment I entered the shop, it was a great experience. The staff is not only extremely knowledgeable but also put in their A effort to make you feel comfortable and special. I went in for a facial and a massage. Never felt more relaxed. Will definitely be returning back. Must visit!

Took my daughter for a spa day. It was really a great experience. The ladies gave us one on one attention. The massages were great as were the facials. We even got mani’s and pedi’s. It was so convenient and extremely well priced. Will be my go to place when I am in the city.

The Groupon introduced me to the spa. I had my first Hot stone massage and have never felt more relaxed.I also had a facial and pedicure. The pedicure was a spa pedicure which is wonderful. You will enjoy your experience there. The owner is a lovely person and takes extra care to ensure a professional service.
