This is the best Neapolitan Margherita pizza in Montreal. Very surprising from a small takeout place. Too bad you can’t eat in.

Look, I’m from Chicago, I know pizza. I refuse to believe there is a better pizza in all of Canada. I ate in two minutes and my girlfriend did too even though she is lactose intolerant. She says it’s worth the consequences are worth it.

Amazing! So delicious—we’ve tried 4 different pizzas so far and they’ve easily been the best pizzas we’ve had in our 4 years living next to Little Italy. I have to second George's opinion as well--the arancini is beyond belief! So Amazingly good

Having tried out Moccione's restaurant in the same location before it began focusing on pizza and been thoroughly impressed, I was eager to see what the same group could do with Pizza. Perhaps as a result of my prior visit, my expectations were considerably high, and I ordered a vegetarian pizza with a tomato base and laden with eggplant for pickup. Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed it looks considerably different, with the previous seating arrangement giving way to a takeout counter, and the addition of pizza ovens. The pizza looked fantastic, with a well charred crust and a myriad of tantalizing toppings. Unfortunately, although Moccione's pizza has strong points, I don't think the style is ideal for takeout. The pizza is slightly sloppy in the middle, in a style more akin to a Neapolitan, and as such did not fare well when eaten a short commute later. I was also not a fan of the eggplant on the pizza, slightly crunchy and dry, and regretted not opting for a simpler margherita pizza. Nonetheless, the dough is excellent, and the crust is light and airy, which might lead to another visit, where I'd rather keep my order as simple as possible.

I’ve lived in Europe and spent a lot of time in Italy. Until today, though, by far the best pizza napoletana I’ve had is at Standard Serious Pizza in Berlin, where I lived. Moccione Pizza is every bit as good as Standard, which is truly exceptional. Moccione makes AMAZING pizza - the fennel sausage pie was perfection. I will say that the dough at Standard might be a touch better. But the sauce at Moccione is the best pizza napoletana sauce I’ve ever had. This place is a must visit. Pies are not cheap but the value for what you get is superb. The staff are wonderful. Not much else to say - this was a really pleasant big surprise. Keep up the amazingly fine work.

Really good pizzas and without a doubt the best arancini in the city!

Hands down some of the best Neapolitan pizza in the city. We have some other good spots but every time I make people try this place they see what I mean right away. The pizza bread itself is a masterclass in what pizza needs to be. You can’t fix a poor foundation with fancy or plentiful toppings. The actual toppings are great too though. If you are in the mood for this style of pizza you owe it to yourself to go here. This particular spot is takeout only and I believe they are opening a sit down resto soon. They just built a terasse though so you can grab a pizza and a nice bottle of wine inside and eat there (or at the park).
